In winter do you get cold underground (in the caves).

Nope. But it's harder living underground than face winter.

Yeah, its easier to face winter, especially if you've got yourself a winter hat before it comes, and , well just to be prepared before it comes.

 

I did go down to get the light bulbs to make a lanter though, and to get some grass too...

No cold, but eventually up to six depth worms.

It is harder to live underground, but I don't like wasting summer there.  If it's summer I want to be planting and harvesting and killing stuff.  There isn't as much to do in the winter, so spending some time in the caves isn't a bad idea.
