Examining Items And Things In The World?

I haven't played in a while. But I remember being able to Shift+Left Click on things to make my character comment on it instead of interact with it.

This no longer works. For example holding down Shift while clicking on a Wormhole just makes my character run into that Wormhole instead of commenting on it.

Is this now designated to a different key or did they take out commenting altogether?

Now just a head's up: I did post this exact same question on the Don't Starve Steam Discussions page. However the responses I've received were a lot less than helpful to say the least (and from the moderator too, who is this guy?):

Thanks.

Since a couple of updates ago, some of your command links have changed. However, you also have the option of key-binding many commands as well. "Force Inspect" (Under Controls) for keyboard and mouse defaults to "Left Alt" which you can assign to anything you wish as long as you make sure something else isn't already assigned to it. I'm showing "Force Box" defaulted to Left Shift on my settings. Finally, I forgot what its default was, but assigned "Take Half" to Left-Control, Left Mouse button like it used to be.

Much thanks. This was very informative and exactly what I needed.

I should have came here first. I don't know why I thought posting in Steam Discussions was a good idea.

That first reply gave you your answer. It would have taken you 5 seconds to click on the controls button in the option menu to see what the new button was.

Exactly. Why did you have to post it here again?

I wouldnt consider that first response on steam discussions to be a complete and/or very helpful answer. From what I recall the controls button did not exist back when the OP played the game, so it makes sense that he didn't think to look for one.
