While the group walks in the now growing passage, something peculiar sticks out of the walls.

"What the heck is that thing?"

Violet points to the peculiar something sticking out of the wall. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, it is not cheese.

(If anyone gets the reference, I will love you forever.)

[Battal]

(Mother 3?)

 

The spiders remain neutral.

[Percival]

The object, now in sight, turns out to be a straw voodoo. For a voodoo doll, it was magnificently detailed, with the straw head sculpted and cut to resemble a real head. The body received the same treatment, all decked out in a gentleman's clothes.

 

Unfortunately, the clothes were caught on the jagged edge of the wall.

The group is almost at the end of the tunnel.  A door is in sight.

pops smiles with glee.

"my, I do enjoy a good party. But I simply must see your face. I've heard rumors from across the land how the Mother's beauty can cure any ailment. Please, let us see your face."
