Battal Posted December 21, 2013 Author Share Posted December 21, 2013 Pop's struggling only makes the web more tangled, and before the group can get to his aid, he is pulled upwards towards a horrifying figure descending from the gloom... The spider's most noticeable trait was its size. It was at least twice the size of the Queen the group faced in the forest long ago. As the creature's face emerged, they noticed that it had no mouth - just smooth, pale skin covered in hundreds of black eyes. The creature's mouth was on it's underside, a massive, tooth-filled maw with four grasping legs reaching out of it. The spider was drawing Pops up towards this. The monster's grasping claws are barely a meter away from Pops. It quickly tries to pull up Pops in a final attempt to devour him, but the string disintegrates just in time, dropping Pops to the bridge below. The spider shrieks in anger, and crawls down the side of the wall to confront the group in meelee. Grunting with concentration, Pops breaks one of the pillars off from one of the walls, and sends it at the spider. Soon after, he falls to his back out cold.
