When i subscribe to it, it doesn't even download onto the mods folder. I works just fine if i upload it to the Klei Forums and download it from there. They should be in Steam, under the library tab, in the category "tools", among a lot of server software and alike. More importantly, why do you want them when you don't have Don't Starve? More importantly, why do you want them when you don't have Don't Starve? One of my friends asked me if i coud make him a mod because I study programing so i made a mod and gave it to him. I wanted to put it on the workshop because i think its kinda good.
