Appearance: Big and hearty. At first glance a force to be reckoned with, but not a bad guy. Is cursed with a permanent beard, in the metaphorical sense. Usually seen wearing fur, which is great for the winter time if it wasn't for Griff's already strong resistance to the cold. Generally large and bulky.

Backstory: Nothing special goes on for Griff. The day-to-day survival of the strange lands before him have become a regular event, bringing with them knowledge and skills to stay alive. Lost count of the days near five hundred and seven. The only memories of the past are cold ones. The unstable levels of sanity lead one to forget a lot, and memory isn't a strong suit for Griff.

Personality: Blunt, though polite when possible. More of a man of action rather than thought, but isn't foreign to a good old fashioned idea.

Abilities: Above average tolerance of the cold. Feels right at home during the winter time, but suffers slightly more during the summer. Also possesses an abundance of strength, but at the cost of a lot more hunger. Sometimes remains hungry even with a full stomach. Thankfully, can tolerate foods closer to their expiration time, almost right up until they've rotted.

Additional Info: Usually followed by a small blue hound. It was never intended to become a pet. In fact, it was originally going to be his hat, but somehow it cemented itself as a permanent companion to Griff.

Name/Race: Celevoir (It doesn't have a name different from its species.)Backstory: Celevoir was the product of imagination left behind by a previous resident of the islands in an attempt to stay sane. One of the times Maxwell went out to 'welcome' a new or reincarnated resident of the islands, he found the drawing and actually liked it. He used some of his power to bring it to life, but found that the nature of the creature drawn had behaviors even HE couldn't change or alter. Annoyed with this, Maxwell managed to change it so that it suffered the same curse as those he pulls into here.Appearance: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb164/Talim_Rave/CelevoirInATree.png~Though not shown in this picture, Celevoir is roughly 6' long. And yes, I both drew and created this creature myself.Personality: Celevoir is a bit shy, often watching those around before daring to approach. Once befriended, Celevoir makes for a rather-loyal companion. Due to her ability to fly and lack of need to hunt, it is also a fair bit of a pacifist. Despite normally being a living source of calm, she can have QUITE the temper if she's had just enough of you. Abilities: ~Pros:Soothing Melody - Celevoir can help calm those around them and slowly ease their insanity with its sung melodies. However, she's not affected by her own music.Constant Float - The strange avian can stay afloat about 2-3 feet about the ground without the need for flapping her wings, which prevents her from being affected by a sudden quake. She can't do this if her hindleaves are damaged, however.Plantlike(Pro) - Celevoir has similar needs to that of a regular plant, needing sun and water to stay 'fed'. She will often consume dirt as well to obtain needed nutrients.Natural Attack - Celevoir's large foreleaves and beak are sharp enough to use either like a spear (closed beak) or large blades (foreleaves).~Cons:Reptilian - Celevoir, as a species, are cold-blooded and needs a source of warmth as well. They lose body heat faster than most species in both winter AND night.Lack of Communication - Outside of singing, when they can prove to mimic human voices despite having a beak, Celevoir cannot communicate with spoken words.Plantlike(Con) - If Celevoir catches fire, she burns up really quick. If this happens, she CANNOT reincarnate, even if she has a way to do so. Her whole body burns up into ash, leaving next to nothing behind, but her beak.Additional Info: Common names for the Celevoir are 'Bird of Leaves' or 'serpentine avian'.
