Questions - Do beefalos have children? Do tallbird eggs hatch?

I know bunnies just kind of infinitely spawn from their holes, but if I kill a bunch of beefalos does the herd maintain itself or can you hunt them into extinction? Also, if you leave tallbirds alone long enough do more of them spawn. Pigmen seem to spawn infinitely from their houses, but can you kill them off too?

And so on.

They dont respawn so you can kill off beefalo and tall birds, pigmen will just keep coming back.

however, beefalo breeding was already confirmed by the devs, and with that in game, hatching tallbird eggs are not that unlikely too I guess.

Talking about animals reminds me about of talk about pets (in which we assumed babies would be one way to acquire them). This in turn reminded me that when you are fishing and pull the fish onto land it actually lives for a short time before expiring. Hmmm. I wonder if there will be something the player can do about that...
