There's no reason not to do it, you could even make it slightly more expensive or cost thulecite for the matter of just making them, instead of using gold. (At least it'll add use to for thule later on). It's STILL in a nebulous space and I don't know why Klei are so... iffy about reworking it into something for the better. Luck on what? The thing is still kinda just... a sort of a 'lantern'. An upgrade or different cost higher tier light source via magic we could use. Old items and structures do need some revamp to feel like they could still be part of the game and feel great, tho with the right balance of course.
