How it goes on the klei forums everytime

everyone here is saying “oh this person is me this personnis me” when i feel very sad that all this description is very depersonalized

we used to have a forums filled with people you remembered something about, and now its just vague descriptors of behaviour with no meaningful connection in between because people would rather argue than connect

and mike is the exception because people find him disruptive and constant

You're absolutely right, every post on this forum is only about people claiming to be other people. Today I feel like I am @W u IP II. Thank you.

Actually I feel like more people should be like me, not that I’m bragging or anything I just feel like more people should be i dunno.. deeper, more complex?

Case in point: instead of immediately shutting a crazy Impossible idea down immediately like Elevated land because “the game isn’t designed for it” we NEED to be bringing those kind of conversations into these forums, because even if DST couldn’t ever handle it.. it gives the developers a general idea of what their players would be excited to see in future installments. And look at as now we’re getting a DS Elsewhere! ♥️ but that never would have happened, if we stayed inside the “it’ll never be possible” bubble.

Just for clarification, the author is referring to one specific thread that happened recently and i said i was guy 2 cuz i was literally guy 2 in that thread 🙂

Just like how people don't know your internal world, you don't know theirs. It's a common feeling though, we all feel like this at times, but we have to remember we only know what we know and if nobody tells us then we're just making guesses, no matter how accurate they might end up being - we still didn't KNOW.

People are all complex for the most part Mike, there are just different degrees on expression, some people don't share it with everyone, and sometimes - anyone.

Also, I think people have explained a lot of times, but again - it's whether it's worth it for how much investment you need to put in measured against the intented outcome, and also the likelihood it'll even have the outcome you want. It's very complex and perhaps you'd feel people were also more complex if you took the time to try to understand them as opposed to just disagreeing and continuing with your own biases?
