Cosmus50 Posted May 9 Share Posted May 9 Recently I've been having trouble with the errands system. Some errands are simply not assigned to any dupes, no matter the amount of time I wait, even at top priority and red alert. This happens even when there is a clear available path and no object/plant obstructing the errand. I know this because sometimes simply cancelling and recreating the errand fixes it, but it is a pain because sometimes I need to cancel relocation jobs that took me some time to create, as well as having to deconstruct and rebuild broken buildings (this is happening with some solar panels). Move errands bugging out when any item was cancelled has been happening for quite a while - I've not paid attention to it since I enabled the Mass move tool mod, which makes issuing relocation errands a breeze, and has recently implemented its own errand which doesn't get stuck like the game's stock relocate does or used to. I don't remember any other errands, certainle not repair errands just not being in the errands tab like that. Does the cancel trick work on those? (Disable/enable auto-repair). If the issue persists across reload, post your save so we can take a closer look. Twiki Posted Sunday at 04:14 AM Share Posted Sunday at 04:14 AM I've run into this issue as well. I made a critter drop-off in a freezing room to cull extra critters. It works fine for a while, then just stops issuing errands. I use the airlock mod, so couldn't be sure it was the base game with the bug. Until... I noticed I was running out of water, and checked and found my desalinator was full of salt but had no errand for emptying. In both cases, a save + reload fixes the problem, as does just tweaking building settings (like on the drop-off) to force it to update its errands. It seems like there's a bug that allows buildings to permanently get dropped off the list to check for updating errands. Huh. I thought I chose a bad material or something by accident. I'll have to pay closer attention if it happens again.
