I didn't like lunar because of the setup but the shadow affinity seems worse. I was expecting an auto turret setup that shoots shadow bolts or a robo shadow dog but these drones are kinda lackluster and with faster bosses they can't keep the debuff active to help with the damage. Yeah 100% agree, still its abit weird for a Gamma , Perhaps I would push it more towards an option in the skill tree, Working great with the Telemechanical Enthusiast category. I think its a neat item, idk how useful it'll realistically be, but it'll help out with ruins rushing since you get it from scanning a knight, and it makes clockworks completely neutral towards you. It's niche sure, but its not like gamma circuits exactly have a ton of competition, and the loadout the majority of people will run around with (2 spin-cycles) lets you slot one in for free. Sadly, the clockwork neutrality does not extend to ancient guardian, I tested it. I still think the spatializer becoming a gamma circuit would be nice, since I really can't think of a situation where I'd ever actually need a 1 slot storage with infinite space, and slotting it into my gamma tray just to fill the slot might let me find out. Oh, and making it cost something that can be obtained pre-moonstorm would be nice too. You lose the damage bonus too quickly due to them not scanning your target anymore. Frashaw27 Posted Saturday at 01:34 AM Share Posted Saturday at 01:34 AM Imma be honest, this update really destroyed shadow servaitor for me. chessmaster is neat, but the shadow servitor perk got butchered pretty hard. Sure, it maybe more "unique" compared to a flat +25% damage boost but they're now not only weaker but its also not universal for large multitarget fights. This does feel like the warbis armor as it is putting unneeded restrictions on the content for no good reasons. The shadow grabbers are also objectively worse as they now do the exact same thing with the same issues but now you now have less potential benefit. It also sucks that you can't use both drones at the same time as the heart doesn't fulfill the fuel need for the grabbers. The ability to eat nightmare fuel also isn't worth its salt as the circuits are not boosted in anyway and you don't really end up in scenarios where your not at max charge for the majority of your playthrough. The mass majority of the shadow alignment has been sacrificed for the lunar chassis'. I’m reading all the feedback and while the drones are cool, they do seem to be a massive downgrade on both the auto grab and damage boost department. Shadow Servitor is already much weaker than Lunar Vessel so I don’t get why we’re nerfing it.
