Changes

  • Added 4 Gamma Circuits: Redigestion, Sonic-Invoker, Spin-Cycle, Blocking.
    • Spin-Cycle requires having an Axe equipped to Chop or Attack.  Strings will be updated later to make that more apparent.
    • Cooldown indicators for Sonic-Invoker and Blocking Circuits are shown on the expanded Circuit bars.  These will be made easier to see later without needing to open the bar.
  • Revised Circuit Tinkering Skill descriptions.
  • All water projectiles (Waterballoons, Ink, Water globs) will now add moisture to items.
  • Circuit tuning:
    • Hardy circuits provide less health overall.
    • Hunger drain benefits with Gastrogain circuits are reduced.
    • The dapper clothing sanity gains from Processing circuits with Alpha Circuit Tinkering II has been reduced.
    • Beanbooster circuit no longer increases the passive health regeneration with Alpha Circuits Tinkering I.
    • Illumination circuits cone light has been adjusted to be smaller overall from Beta Circuit Tinkering II.
    • Electrification Circuit direct damage has been reduced, and the explosion damage from Beta Circuits Tinkering II has been reduced.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash when a Marotter steals an item.
  • Fixed a crash when feeding a Pig Man.
  • Fixed a desync between server and client player movement speed with Vigor Mortis buff and Acceleration Circuits skill perk.
  • Fixed Expansive Storage Unit not functioning properly when transferred into a Backup Chassis.
  • Fixed cases where you could still Move/Drop the Expansive Storage Unit using a controller.
  • Fixed Bright-Beaked Birds still spawning when they’re disabled in world settings.
  • Fixed an issue where corpses could persist, even when there’s no Crystal-Crested Buzzards nearby.

so the new circuits make it so Wx can

  • turn rotten food into a nutrient brick, which Wx themselves seems unable to eat
  • spin around when using a axe as a weapon or tool, chopping or striking slightly faster
  • Block in a fashion similar to snurtle armor, but still take damage - not fully negated
  • Produce sound waves that startle enemies similar to how bosses scare them 

as for what the benefits on additional perks are like tinker one or two its hard to tell.

But additional regurgitation circuits seem to reduce the amount of rotten food needed to make the brick.

after trying a lot of the existing circuits, these nerfs seem way overdone, the gamma circuits aren't nearly good enough to warrant what has changed on the other end of the spectrum 

- health circuits nerfed 3 times, they were fine after the last changes 
- illumination circuits nerfed. a complete non issue 
- sanity and hunger circuits nerfed, also a complete non issue 

these changes make wx feel like your doing the merm king quests and you have these boring, negligible stat ups.

this' a 50% reduction according to the game files. why? it was in a good place, and would be even with the new blocking circuit because of how the circuit tinkering skills buff them, i see no reason for why it was nerfed so hard. for comparison, with 3 electrification circuits on a non-wet target, you'd deal around 90 damage, now you'll deal 45 damage. 3 circuits, for a single-target retaliation attack that deals just a bit higher than a spear's worth of damage. man, this sucks :[

thanks for the early tip of them,
for now at least gamma circuits are in the most Neat?
i have to test further but it seems spins makes animation cancel harder, if not impossible
the block one is amazing
the sound waves one? strange but notheless cool
the rotten one is more useful for new players but idk dont seems very useful for now

yeah this one is rough, not sure this one needed the hit.

Yeah... The rot one is interesting as with 3 circuits you can turn 3 rot into super fuel for fire's or flingos as it is burnable so that's cool.

The spin with two makes tool durability loss reduced by I think half, one normal axe went down to 7% instead of 15% on a full grown tree so that was cool. Need to test if it's the same as a weapon, how ever it's limited to tools that are considered axes, the shadow maul late game might be interesting...

The sound wave one, might have the best use in multiplayer as well as it's effect is only active if you stand completely still.

Block is neat, could have some synergy with the electrical, which may be the reason for the nerf if I had to guess.

just pointing out that the block *does* have a 75hp max intake before you lose it for 2 minutes 

Tinkering changes are here I think:

super gastrogain:

-alpha1: 70% -> 85%

-alpha2: 50% -> 80%

Super processing:

-alpha1: dapperness bonus went from 20% to 10%

-alpha2: dapperness bonus went from 50% to 25%

Electrification:

-charge damage went from 100 to 75

Beanbooster: no bonus to health rate as said in the original post.

I'm pretty happy with these all around - good job

Wait... people use a mod for this? Don't you already auto follow things if you click on them while moving? I'm pretty sure you don't even have to hold it down either, I think the only issue there is when you reach your target you stop.

Don’t really care about the stats nerfs cause stats are kinda meaningless after you reach certain threshold.

But what the hell are those nerfs on light, lightning and jellybeans?

Being able to kill spider after getting two hit is too op?

Being able to light up the range that’s smaller than torch is too strong?

Being able to heal slowly is too strong with the need of defeating one of the hardest bosses?

I hope these nerfs are for the balance of later alignment skill.
