Changes

  • Swapped the Skill Perk effects of the Refrigerant Circuit and Thermal Circuit.
  • Reordered WX-78’s crafting recipes.
  • Reduced WX-78’s base stats to 100 health, 100 hunger, and 100 sanity.
  • Minor adjustments to Zaptrocuter camera and movement acceleration.
  • Zaptrocuter attack button can now be held for repeated attacks.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Zaptrocuter not responding to held movement controls after firing on clients with prediction.
  • Fixed getting stuck on a black screen sometimes when damaged during transfer to a Backup Chassis.
  • Fixed a crash when food rots in a Backup Chassis, and other item related issues with it.
    • We apologize, but as a side effect of this fix, Backup Chassis saved prior to this hotfix will lose their skins and equipped items.
  • Fixed bug where Beta circuits remained active on Backup Chassis of a player that has left the server.
  • Fixed a crash on closing WX-78’s circuit bar menu.
  • Fixed max health not being properly synced to clients when plugging in the Hardy Circuit.
  • Fixed the Optoelectronic Circuit not functioning properly.
  • Fixed the Beanbooster Circuit instantly healing to full rather than overtime.
  • Fixed Alpha circuits not properly disappearing off the Circuit bar UI when transferring consciousness.
  • Jousting will now be properly interrupted when the weapon is unequipped.

 

Known Issues

  • The action to recharge Zaptrocuter Controller or Morning Star fails for WX-78 on clients with prediction.

Are there going to be considerations for dramatic changes to the skill tree and/or baseline abilities in the future? I know a lot of people are talking about balance at the moment but mechanically there are some things that could be discussed with the development team with regard to baseline vs skill tree mechanics. I am very thankful the circuitry change was a baseline change rather than being locked behind a skill perk for instance.

If only WX had a way that they can increase their max stats somehow

It's to give more incentives for sanity circuits keeping it at 150 kinda makes it feel unnecessary now ignoring it will be felt while still not being mandatory.

Logic aside it feels nostalgic seeing him with his old stats again.

fair. still not taking sanity. just extra tedium I'll have to manage, but its fine used to it with webber

Appreciate these changes a lot. Also really like the base stat change.

Only thing I’d like now is some small changes to the alpha circuits secondary effects. I feel like they should get worse the more of the same circuit you have like the speed circuit because they scale with each other a lot.

Or maybe just reduce the effects a little in general. I like the option to min max a stat, but it truly is min maxing since it makes that stat insanely powerful because they scale with each other so well.

I think the only other time they done this for other characters was Wes when they made him all 75 and Wickerbottom who had her health reduced to 125 during their reworks.

Though WX has had his stats changed 4 times now. Started as 100/100/100, changed to his port to dst to make him eat less gears at 150/150/150, changed to 125/150/125 in his rework, then back to 100/100/100

Oh wait Wolfgang also got his hunger stat reduced in his rework.

funny thing is that it is exactly what they did

 

 

 

Idea of solo perk: hibernation mode. you can use cirtuit exctractor or nothing to enter sleep mode (like your other bodies) and sleep (+hp -hunger) or just wait (afk no hunger drain and darkness attacks). also works as bush hat (but alot longer to cast)
