I think it is also strange that the Interference video shows Wagstaff with yellowish gloves, yet the in-game sprite was never updated to reflect this.

I also don't understand how he can project himself working on the portal and fiddling with the radio outside of the projection at the same time.

  1. Wagstaff is sucked into the portal, and during this animation we see Charlie so this is post Maxwell's no longer being the king of constant.

Before Charlie took the throne, she would unpredictably switch between a happy niceys Charlie and a mean evil Charlie. When she sat on the throne, these two personalities were fused into the ANR Charlie we're used to. Since she's still switching between niceys and evil in the Next of Kin short, we can infer that it happened before she took the throne.

God this is such a mess. This implies she was sucked into the portal while Maxwell was still on the throne, yet she is not playable in DS, only DST which happens after Maxwell is freed. Unless she was sucked during the short intermission when Wilson was on the throne

Wilson could possibly be sustaining 75 hunger points every 8 minutes

The throne is sentient and feeds him.

Why would Wilson willingly choose to go back to the nightmare throne, which he does not like being on.

The throne gave him visions of the Chinese market for the DS franchise so he decided to make a spinoff that would never see the light of day.

Events that happen in the real world and the Constant don't happen 1:1. Because of the unpredictable nature of the Constant's timestream, some Survivors get pulled in in the "present" but effectively appear in the Constant in what could be considered the "past" or "future" compared to the year it was in the real world. It's going to be impossible trying to make both timelines match one another: it's by design that they don't.

You don't appear to really know a lot about this game's lore.

There's like, a decade old animation that was used in like 2 other animation that shows both Charlie and Maxwell getting taken into the constant, at the same time

This is the fire that was shown in Winona's cinematic during which Wagstaff presumably gets sucked into the portal while she tries to save him. So for him to be alive well and happy hours later just outside of his factory's remains after losing both his factory and his workers seems to be funny to me.

They spat him back out(didn't like him).

I'm aware of it and I'm not sure how my message gave you an impression that I am not.
We know that Maxwell is the king of constant during DS, or at least that Charlie is not.
We also know that Charlie is the queen of the constant during DST since Cyclum starts with Maxwell being spat out and ends with entry portal being remade, survivors reunited and Charlie aura farming in the background, no longer being two separate entities.

Since Winona is sucked while Charlie is still two separate entities, that implies she was sucked before events of DST, yet she is not playable in DS, which creates a question of "where exactly on the timeline of constant Winona's cinematic is taking place".

That was what I meant by my original message, perhaps due to English not being my native language I was misunderstood.

Because the timeline in the Constant is described as completely non-linear, Winona can theoretically be pulled into the portal before Charlie took the throne, but finished portal travelling after Charlie becomes Queen.

I'm so sorry but ..... I. Told. You.

Klei have been consistent for years, this was actually so much less than I ever dreamed they'd do.

How many more times you guys gonna get your hopes up? The game is over chaps. The shark has been jumped.

Boo this take, I am having fun with this teaser. I want to guess what the big reveal will be.

It will be a comic panel showing charlie as tennebrau, she'll be watching Wag from the shadows.

I dunno, whatever klei decide the lore will be the week it releases I guess. You'll be back here when it's over providing more cope, so it's not gonna matter anyways :p

Edit: Sorry if that sounds pointed but at this point it feels like the community queues up at the 'slap-me-across-the-face' machine and then gets shocked that it slapped them in the face. I mean, at this point did you really expect anything tangibly good? When George R.R. Martin promised it'll be worth it when the dragons come, did they ever end up coming? And if they did, would it really make it all worth it?

D'ya get what i'm trying to say? They've demonstrated this stuff, over and over again. At this point it's on YOU if you're suprised, and on YOU if you fall for it.

It's almost like they deliberately said time flows back and forth so they can retcon the lore at a whim and not rely on an actual linear narrative or structure, or narrative structure really.

It's a like a story that hasn't been finished, by an author who hasn't thought about the plot or want's to be trapped by what they've already established. Lazy isn't the word. But you wouldn't misunderstand me if I said it.

In the intermission animation Wagstaff looks around 46 when he stole that projector, seemingly moments after Maxwell and Charlie were taken. If that's the case, then if Wagstaff was old when the factory burned down, then Winona should also look older

This is a good point. Maxwell's final act causes the quake of 1906. The Voxola fire is 1919. That's 13 years.
