Nice fight! Tho, I have a question, how are you able to have 6 of those flying things? Didn't the newly released beta made it so that you can only have 5 types of unit at max?

In addition, I find it quite anticlimactic that one of the most consistent & fastest ways to beat the final phase of the final boss in an incredibly long arc is just by what is essentially damage tanking (with a bit of teleporting).

I feel a little bit like that too. I haven't had the time to fight the boss yet, but by watchingyhr fight, it feels incomplete, and just very trivial. Maybe with the upcoming changes to the new electric state the boss will have more depth. This beta is a bit different than what we used to, bc were getting little pieces every update, rather than the full thing ready for bug fixing. Feels more like and alpha than a beta. Guess we just have to wait and see what comes next

I was with Save before I started the fight (made with 7 Enlightened Shard). So I didn't want to do all the quest again. Because that exists this difference.

It is good to remember that in the final version we will have the electric fence again active in the corners, which will make it very difficult for what was done in the video.

Well, that will be a nightmare! Hope that klei knows what they are doing, and are going to balance this boss properly.

To clarify, if I am not mistaken, I feel like the new arena will not do any contact damage, given this is in their change logs for the beta. I think they are just going to add the new art for the arena. Thus, I feel like your approach might still be valid on release (assuming they do revert this change)

The fact that bone armor negates it's dash attack is kinda goofy. Considering that it looks more like it should do constant damage as it flies through.

The problem is that Wanda has less than 15 hp during these fights constantly. Wanda died several times trying to do this fight in full. It is extremely unstable to go with Wanda and I do not even recommend going with her. Wigfrid and Wolfgang do not even need the armor. Neither did Willow, by the way. In any case, it is even more valuable to fight against AFW. Finally, Maxwell will simply imprison the boss while a Wolfgang destroys this boss.

What I mean is that there will be many tactics against this boss, such as using damage multipliers.

Would Wolfgang with Warly's food damage multiplier be more "goofy"? What if it was a Wurty with full bodyguards? It is difficult to evaluate this with so many possibilities.

Whatever you find fun eh? Really wish the combat system was updated because it looks like besides swapping out a few items, you're just holding F and position changing.

Unsurprisingly, the art is always great. Klei is awesome in that department.

also getting real "orange staff or lose" FW vibes in there

you dont need the lazy, but its extremely late game. you are expected to get it since you wouldve had to go into the ruins before this for a star caller anyway. expecting a lazy from the player's not that much of a requirement

it does negate but it does put you in the KB state, and if there was corruption where you were knocked to, you are taking 80 damage before you are actionable so it doesnt make it a good thing (not to mention it really drags out the fight which you wouldnt want since at random it will just cover the arena in corruption if you **** up even once)

I think your timing is pretty sharp! Good job and thanks for sharing.

I do wish they changed the mechanics of the second phase to be more dynamic but also having multiple people might change that quite a bit. It might be a case of Klaus v2 where it is mostly less of a mess to fight it solo. Also I saw this before that standing near the edge negates the electrified flooring which is pretty smart. Gj!
