Changes and Improvements

  • All versions
    • Updated localizations.
  • The Prehistoric Planet Pack
    • Rebalanced Garden biome elements, critter and plant distribution. There's now less oxylite, and more algae and water. Reduced density of some elements. New saves only.
    • Added cooking attribute scaling to Smoker emptying errand.
    • The Dartle's additional excretion is now called Secondary Excretion, and has a tooltip that explains that the critter will produce Chlorine Gas due to bloating after eating.
    • The Dartle's description now mentions that it also excretes Chlorine Gas.
    • Edited the victory message that shows up when Demolior is destroyed.
    • Updated Smoker emptying animation.
    • Changed "Empty Smoker" chore-type to cooking.
    • Adjusted kcal requirements of Gristle Berry and Ovagro Fig Mixed Berry Pie ingredients.
    • Removed one of the popups that appeared when destroying Demolior.

Fixes

  • All versions
    • Removed Small Pokeshell Molt and Small Oakshell Molt. The Pokeshell Spawn and Oakshell Spawn now drop small portions of regular Pokeshell Molt and Oakshell Molt on death or when maturing into adults.
    • Fixed Microbe Musher product visualization.
    • Merged the Cooked Seafood recipes (Pacu Fillet and Raw Shellfish) in the Electric Grill UI.
    • Merged the Refined Carbon recipes (Coal, Wood, and Peat) in the Kiln UI.
    • Merged the Allergy Medication recipes (Blossom Seed and Seakomb) in the Apothecary UI.
    • Fixed a bug where Sanishell Spawn was not dropping Shellfish on death.
    • Fixed a Rotpile crash that could occur when loading some saves.
  • Spaced Out! only
    • Fixed the incorrect position of some objects when the starmap is opened.
  • The Prehistoric Planet Pack
    • Fixed an issue where saving and loading a game after having destroyed Demolior would spawn a new Demolior. Existing saves will need to destroy it again.
    • Fixed a crash loading saves with new Duplicant outfits.
    • Fixed a crash when completing a Fossil Block or Hanging Fossil Block.
    • Jawbo Fillet is no longer missing from the Carnivore achievement.
    • The Wetlands Biome description has been updated to specify that the Jawbo now produces Rust. It used to produce Lime.
    • Improved updating pathing of Intracosmic Blastshot when the targeted object moves. Fixed well-timed save loads causing a second damage event from an Intracosmic Blastshot .

The oakshell molts bugging out was actually fixed when activating the current preview_branch. I didn't abuse that particular bug on purpose. 

My real question here is "What happened to existing small molts?" I had a collection of those waiting for research purposes.

Edit: Some hoops were jumped through and I managed to get a screenshot of the molts I've lost to this change. Not like it matters much but still, it's the principle of it all. You shall be remembered:

I have Oil biome at the bottom of my beta world but i made it as soon as the beta started. It may or may not be a generation bug.

Being able to eat Beetas makes thematic sense. Half the critters the Saturn Critter Trip can eat also don't have overlapping temp ranges. If you want to use Beetas today, I think you'll just have to accommodate for them being more temporary than others

Here's a silly Beeta+Lura Plant. In reality, it was only able to sustain 40 of the 128 traps because the beetas had trouble getting to the edges but free is free.
