I think it'd make the labyrinth hold more value rather then just a time sink of nagivating, and make an alternative, and renewable way of getting fossils. Is this dumb for a reason I'm not noticing? I feel like this would just be a nice addition. Finding 8 fossil pieces isn't that big a deal and you don't need a whole stack of 40 unless it's to grief spawn by sealing the whole place.
