can i say... i am actually pretty surprised most people arent fighting enraged klaus? .... i guess it makes sense, it is a harder fight that is optional but like, it makes the fight go way faster to knock out the deer right away and i know a couple of the people on here are actually competent fighters/strategists

While enraged, Klaus gains 2.74x health and a 64% damage resistance, making him take 7.62x as much damage to kill. That is almost 8x as long of a fight. Unless the wiki is lying. I've never fought him enraged so I don't know if the wiki is conflating health and damage resistance for some reason, if it was doing that it'd only be almost 3x as long of a fight.

Klaus gets damage reduction and more health, how does the fight go faster if you deal like 30 damage with a dark sword

if you get help from mobs or other players you are doing substantially more than 30 damage to him, also since you are not waiting for the deer to attack or get out of the way and you dont have to deal with any slow-down from freezing or dealing with temp-control you can hit sooner and more often

because he has over 100k effective HP when enraged lmao

also his range is massively increased and iirc he attacks more often so you can at best get 2 hits in between attacks even with max speed

Only challenging ones I voted were bq, afw, scrappy wp, nm wp.

I don't think enraged Klaus is a boss fight and I don't even know why you included him here. He's part of Klaus, but it's just a really niche fight tha I believe only 0.01% of people do it regularly, maybe not even that much.

oh I also voted crystal deerclops because of his torch requirement and rather challenging nature of fast attacks.

I feel like you could say the same thing about non-enraged, just kill him before he enrages by targeting him and ignoring the deer?
Also, yeah you can hit sooner, and more often, but so can he if I remember correctly.

eh, my experience has mostly been he breaks armour a lot faster because attempting to dodge him becomes ridiculous which is just accounted for with  grouping up on him to stagger who he focuses on so he -doesn't- focus on only you and if that fails replacing the armour more often

It takes far less set up to just kill him normally, the only characters anyone would consider killing enraged Klaus as is Wurt and maybe~ Webber

yeah, it does take less set-up to kill him normally. that part is inarguable. he goes down super fast with very little. my issue was just that i expected more people to try enraged and was surprised when that is not how the poll turned out

Challenge is a spectrum, but overall this poll's certainly better than the other one.

That strategy makes me think Woodie's treeguard idols would be great for killing him.

no doubt he'd probably be the best at swarming a lot of bosses. as soon as people started talking about the side effect of the turf changes i kind of wondered about him as a good candidate for bee queen or scrappy
