Really love the reaching souls change, it's a really nice change and I much prefer it over souls racing at me (considering nice inclination is not the side made with soul storage capacity changes) and overloading my inventory. It doesn't make me want to pick soul bastion however, and if I really wanted souls to chase after and heal people, I'd take that and not the soul bastion upgrade. 30 hp on a heal is nice but souls already do 20 and I'm not itching to spend affinity on a 10 extra HP when other perks are far more appealing.

Edit: The souls following others without Soul Bastion 1/2 is REALLY sad. I wouldn't get it actually.

A patch the day before the update is coming?

There ended up being quite a bit of code changes so we agreed it would be best to put out a hotfix anyway so we can get a head start on any bugs that come up from this build.

Nice to see the bonus bug got fixed lol.

I at least feel good knowing that you guys are aware of it, but any chance the main bug from the report will be looked at? I know it probably isn't an easy fix, and likely isn't worth the effort

I had no idea you could do this. Is it saying you can call Woby back early when you send her out with Woby Here Woby There?
Great changes as usual, I noticed a lot of the changes are from feedback I've seen here so I'm sure others will be very happy about it too
looking forward to the update tomorrow

at least now it does something ig. still lasting longer does nothing for him or the decoy and neither does the damage work in tandem with the longer lasting part

this is absolutely huge, thank you! i will say it seems like reaching souls II isnt really worth much on its own, you just have to commit to soul bastion all the way in order for the soul movement to do much of anything - id say the speed is pretty undertuned atm ToT again it just feels like soul bastion II exists as a reason to make reaching souls II and soul bastion I worse on their own

this is 5% per creature caught, which seems a bit much to me? i'd like to see it consume a bit less durability so you don't have to carry a stack of silk with you. if the knabsack has to be a bit more expensive in order for that to happen, i wouldn't mind. it being on-par with the normal bugnet is really underwhelming.

you also HAVE to click on any critters in order to catch things with the knabsack which is INCREDIBLY annoying. its fine if you have actionqueue, but you shouldnt have to have a mod in order to make the knabsack usable... i've also had many times where i've accidentally soul hopped instead of using it because its the same button. i prefered it before, where you have to manually pick things up normally instead of manually using the item in hand.

this buff is VERY fun, i looove the way that it makes the skills flow into eachother, i can already tell its gonna be really fun to use. it also makes it so you dont have to commit to the full branch in order to do damage with it which is really fun

i think most of my criticisms for the skill tree still apply, but decoys are so much better now. thanks for the patch ahead of time!

also, the skill tree text is still outdated - it says what the previous perks were instead, and should probably be adjusted before launch so its not confusing to new players ^_^

Will the controller update (like wortox soul hop aiming, lock on function) come with the update tomorrow? Or will that be coming later?

Controller changes will have to be something later after this release.

5% per critter is more than fair imo, since it's so, so cheap. Basically double the normal one with negligible soul cost, which for a tier 1 skill is pretty good.

its still a full skill point. wendy and walter have both gotten pretty damn good items for that much!

like i said, i'm fine with it becoming more expensive of a craft if it becomes a better item. the point of wanting to use it as a bug net, for me, is the ease of it, since im normally carrying a knabsack on me anyways. as it is, id still have to teleport back to my base for materials, which changes very little for me. yes it is cheaper than a normal bug net, yes it is aoe, but the main reason why i was looking forward to having it as a bug net is so that i wouldnt have to make trips back (and use more souls) if i happened to need one >_<
