Just a little thought, Wanda uses time magic, and can revive others with time magic, then why can't she do the same to other things? For example using time magic to accelerate the drying rack so the meats becomes jerkys instantly, or use time magic on a field to make all the corps instantly ripe, or even refresh a food

Yeah I've always found it lame how Wanda's "time" themed perks are actually just teleportation and revival. I remember her announcement post describing her having the ability to "create a bubble in time" that she could then return to, which I took as meaning you could save a snapshot of an area, and then later return its structures and plants and such into the state they were previously... but actually it was referring to her backtrek watch, which is just the ability to set an area you can teleport to.

Ive thought about at least one her affinity skills stealing time from her enemies. Maybe enough to stop the passive drain on her hp as long she continues to hit something. It would make combat more fluid for her and keep transformations more in check.

Also potentially a DOT that ramps up as she attacks the same enemy but quickly dies down if she stops attacking. Wanda may be a character with a single "faction" (shadow?) so she'll need a universal attack that works on both shadow and ghestalt. A planar dot is something new klei could think about.

A Skill/Perk to stun enemies, locking them in time, freezing time for them would be a great idea.

It would be like Poop Rounds or Shadow Prison, but a small time freeze, like 2 seconds. Could be cool.

Or food expires much slower on Wanda, or speed up Crops, Trees growth time. Or heal team mates with her Ageless Watch if she herself doesn't need healing. oooh, Imagine her rewinding time from night to day! Probably not worth implementing though haha.

in lore she can but she just... doesn't want to, ig? maybe we'll get more stuff with the skilltrees

A better version of Wanda would probably feature this and have her alarming clock be non existant.

I feel like if she were to encroach on specifics like plants it would probably be too close to what Wicker has, but maybe structure time use decreased would be nicer, tho getting more jerky for her doesn't sound that beneficial.

She could speed herself or her team of allies up, revive maybe followers that died, she could have passives of lesser time to collect things or specific things to spoil slower for her. She could have a lot of things but we gotta be sorta mindful that she kinda like Maxwell has a kit of things she can do.

We can definitely expect our three elder characters to have Winona treatment sort of content, stat boosts, some nerfs, and some new quirks.

I think they'll add something like this in her skilltree, but im also really hoping they give her a good skilltree and not an underwhelming one like Wolfgang. They should aim more for utility than dmg. (Not that she shouldn't get dmg skills just give her more utility ones than dmg)

The whip clock definitely doesn't fit the timekeeper theme but it definitely fits wanda's character, no matter how much people will deny it, she's a vindictive time God that will stop at nothing to remove anything and anyone who offends her the slightest from all time, knowing her personality makes the clock whip fit her more than anything else

Range weapons doesn't fit a supposed glass canon character on top of having access to the best most protective armor pre-rift in the game without the downsides.

Which also makes her increase damage from shadow weapons when in elder form redundant since you don't have any benefit of using a melee weapon over the alarming clock. Right now you get some benefit using the scythe against planar enemies but I bet klei would repeate the non sense of making the safer option also the higher dps option with her skill tree

ffs I was talking about her lore ;-; I didn't even mention the gameplay/the glass cannon stuff, I just said that if Wanda was a real person, she would gladly whip her enemies to death

i doubt anyone can forget things that they do ALL the time, especially something that kills them if they forget

the real problem is that she knows what they'll do/will happen to them in one, or possibly many many different timelines, but she can never know what they're actions are gonna be/what will happen to them in the timeline that she's in, this is shown by some of her quotes being surprised at different things happening or thinking that one outcome Is different than what she has seen before
