Thb I personally think that's a problem of chests and backpacks.

I don't see Klei ever making relatively cheap chests that can be moved without cost or expensive version that has more slots, which could relief storage strain of tools and other unstackables (like storeroom).

On top of that leaving tools on the ground is just more convenient because you don't need to open 999+ chests to find them and can just glance at base and find it in an instant.

Spoiler

I legit developed the skill of finding something in cramped place after years of playing DS/T to the point of my boyfriend treating it as superhuman ability both in-game and outside the game. No wonder, considering I'm finding something within a second and he might take several dozens of seconds, but even usual 5 times time difference is massive.

I wish we could have some kind of storage that displays equipment and allows to just point and pick whatever one wants (like shelves in Hamlet), but uses one slot for duplicate equipment and pulls the one with lowest durability first (if object has durability). Remember all those flint axes, or opulent pickaxes from sunken chests, or deer antlers? No amount of regular chests is enough to store it, and it feels futile anyway.

Yes, pretty sad. But I guess from our devs' viewpoint this is just a cheese as same as AFW's cheese. The only difference is this cheese for dgfl could not disable the boss completely.

It wasnt chanfe because of cheese but because regular players experienced "unexplained" despawn behavior on df

I know. I was just trying to understand this change from other viewpoint.

But it would cause fps dropping especially in end game...

One of the reasons I mentioned that WHWT is too strong is that the transport ends immediately no matter how far away it is, but make it's \ the downside of WHWT... well.. sorry, I don't like it.

Just like I didn't like giving Abigail a 5-minute timeout to increase her max HP before, I don't like using "You wait without doing anything or you can't do some work while you wait" as a cost. I'm rather a fan of skill cooldowns.

Intentional or not, you do realise that mentioning it can only result in nerf (especially noticeble for early game) and won't make anyone's game experience better, right? Please don't. Chests are already expensive and tedius to make, I don't need this skill to inherit their problems.

I would rather woby not pack my stuff in a backpack. Putting my backpack on the ground is not about storing...

If that was the case then twigs from twiggy trees or visit to evergreen forest would nuke your PC. I heared that it's actually creatures such as spiders and bees who drop fps because each individual mob constantly checks a lot of things and has significantly more complex behaviour that just being on the ground.

Edit: if storage is destroyed instantly and a lot of things drop to the ground - it's another story, I saw that causing lag. But just existence of many items is not enough.

Fixed Dragonfly changing her spawn point when put to sleep, causing her to de-aggro unexpectedly.

Goodbye to this method

Have a question: is it an intentional design that Woby's deliver could work for backpack on ground?

I'm assuming it's intentional only because she performs the same actions as Wobot and Winbot, and this interaction specifically was mentioned during Winona's skill tree, so the devs know about it

  • Slingshot Bands now give a slight boost to projectile speed as well

Looks like the pig band gets SLINGSHOT_MOD_SPEED_MULT_1 and tentacle band gets SLINGSHOT_MOD_SPEED_MULT_2.

So 10% projectile speed boost for pig band and 20% boost for tentacle.

Hi, I just wanted to make a little note for a change for Wortox. Could the lunar armor ability be improved? Well, this one is far behind compared to the scythe, the scythe adapts to whether there are one or more enemies, while the armor does not, leaving the armor's ability behind. I also have to add that invulnerability doesn't make you resistant to knockback. You could also make this ability adapt a little to enemies if there are several, for example as if it were an Abigail shield that hits you and leaves you invulnerable for a short period.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but I am actually pretty happy with what Klei has done. Sure, some of the features come with a little jank, but that's just how game developnent works. I think we should be supportive and offer feedback that is contructive, but not harsh. I hope that your view of Klei hasn't been too tainted by this update, trust me, there have been updates that have dissapointed me too, but I keep going because I know that they will always bounce back. Have a great day.

With all due respect, the forums can get a bit toxic at times. That is not to say that we did not try it, but I think that a little bit of kindness can go a long way.

Edit: just because the forums CAN get toxic at times, does not mean we all are toxic. PLEASE DO NOT run away with this statement.

we were respectfull just to not get things changed

If you are unwilling to change your mind, that's alright, I understand. That said, there are plenty of fans that ARE happy with this update. I know YOU are not, and that is a COMPLETLY VALID opinion. I just ask that you please do not lump every fan into one camp, that is how dissagreements get formed that don't contribute to the fanbase or the game. I am personally very happy with the update. I know that it's hard to see, but please try to keep an open mind. Have a great day.

there plenty of threads about how wortox skill tree is bad and suggestions and feedback and otherwise improvemends being given, i cannot change your mind about it

I am well aware that I cannot change your mind either, much like how you cannot change mine. That said, I choose to focus on the postitive side of things for a myriad of reasons, one of them being that negativity just plain hurts... I know it's hard to see right now, but I hope you come to realize that you can catch more flies with honey rather than vinegar.
