Overall, I'm not really a fan of the skilltree, mostly because it focuses heavily on what I consider the weakest parts of Wendy's character and gameplay loop, that is, the mourning glory crafts and adquisition, and very slightly touches on what is the main gameplay loop of Wendy's character, Abigail herself.

 

-3 skills dedicated to mourning glory adquisition
-4 dedicated to potions
-3 to add new mourning glory crafts
-2 to move graves to relocate pipspooks for mourning glory gathering, and make new graves

That's 12/25 skills

-3 are dedicated to the sisturn, 1 for making petal last longer, another to improve sanity management, and sisturn 3 actually works on Abigail, even if I'm not a fan of how it was implemented, and just adds more micromanaging.

-1 to make you do some damage after death.

- And then we get the 3 Team Spirit skills, actually full focus Abigail skills that expands what you can do with no strings attached. These are the best skills in the tree by far.

That's 19/25, only 4 of those skills affect Abigail directly, and only 1 of the new crafts works on Abigail (new Ghostly Elixir)

Then there's the 6 affinity skills, which have already been discussed quite extensively, so I'll just note that only 2 of them, the first out of each line, gives you passive buffs.

 

 

In short, barely anything in this tree is set and forget for regular Wendy gameplay, a large portion of it focuses on what I consider the weakest and less interesting part of Wendy's character, and just makes it less tedious, not fun or engaging. From her new crafts, the new potion is interesting, the butterfly resurrection seems like a way to force synergy with the Shadow Line, the hat is a neat idea, but I struggle to find any use cases after you get some decent items, and her revival is just a replacement craft for an item I never use.
The sisturn III is far from set and forget, has some big drawbacks, and requires micromanaging while fighting to get value out of it, the shadow affinity requires the constant acquisition of critters to use, and I'm not a big fan of the Lunar Affinity skills.

 

So no, overall, I'm not a fan of this skilltree because it has very little direct effect on what I like about Wendy; Abigail, and half of the effects require constant busywork to actually use, and half of the entire skilltree is reducing the amount of repetitive busywork to craft her buffs, instead of fixing the repetitiveness.

The tree has a few good things here and there, but overall, I think this tree is a dud for me, as is unlikely to be salvaged at this point, so I'll just accept it and move on. I hope Wanda gets a good skill tree.
