My worst Idea is that Klei sold the Dont Starve Franchise off to Tencent, and that DS NewHome will not ever actually come out, because over time Klei (& Tencent) will start to transform DST and mold it into NewHome.

For some of us, it already feels this way, with the whole overpowered skill trees and complete and total annihilation of any trace of downside whatsoever.

Webber's no longer fused with a spider. He's a bee now. He can beedazzle hives, preventing them from going hostile in spring and when harvested. He can fly over small gaps, but sometimes he flies into the water if he mistakes the reflections for a flower. He can sting Walter.

The game should be splitscreen for all players, even if it's online multiplayer. no limit on how many times the screen can split. That way we know what everyone is doing and we can kick griefers before they do more damage.

The Character's feet are added as equipment slots (all Feet Skins are unraveled into Spools).

Right after spawning, players are spawned barefoot. Walking barefoot on the Constant will cause various disasters to strike you.

• Toe slams
• Callus
• Wet feet (Rain)
• Chilblains (Winter)
• Soles burn (Summer)

Therefore, players need to get "Shoes" to protect their feet as soon as possible. Among the shoes are High Heels which restore Sanity but consume Health and Roller Skates which reduce the player's inertia but have a chance of falling as if they are always on ice.

There is inventory in the Shoes, and pebbles can into shoes while walking. In that state, the player will receive damage and stun every time they walk, so you need to be taken out. As a benefit, you can obtain mineral resources.

New player-to-player interactions, add massaging other players' feet, clipping their toenails, and giving them pedicures. (those must be done through mini-games like Winona's Cachebox). These can also be done to Crabby Hermit, allowing you to obtain Peals without relying on the RNG of heavy fish.

As new end-game survival threats, when opening the Lunar Rift, releases of Ingrown Toenails caused by Moon Mutations, and when opening the Shadow Rift, Athlete's Foot Fungus caused by Miasma.

Webber has six feet slots.

Not gonna lie, ignoring basically everything else in this idea, getting something focused on the hygiene aspect of wilderness survival would be pretty cool.

Woby can die and she regenerates health like chester but never respawns the only way to get her back is to swap back to Walter. Walter loses 100 sanity on Woby's death

I would just disable Nightmare Creatures from spawning during the FW fight. They act so inconsistently, often needing to hit you like 3-4 times to get the memo, so why not just remove them? Insanity is already a threat in this fight.

Wortox's skill tree has a skill called Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. This gives him a chance to instakill anything he hits with his hands. As a downside, if he gets greedy and eats too many souls, his teeth turn gray.
