So the rock lobster regeneration from void mask is still unfixed.

Beware everyone, I recommend you guys keep the shadow rift inactivity during this winter feast. The rock lobster regeneration bug of void mask is still unfixed. 

My world was completely disabled the shadow rift from the void mask update till now. I just activated the shadow rift 2 hours ago and rock lobster started to clone themselves from void mask, great.

I enabled the rift in the cave a long time ago, and the Rock Lobster bug has been bothering me for quite a while. I can't believe it still hasn't been fixed...

When I play on my own, I can't even tell whether the bug has been fixed, because I don't know if those Rock Lobsters were generated before or after the update. Every time I see Rock Lobsters fighting Void Masque, Splumonkeys, Clockwork Creatures, or the Rasp, Jitters, and Shriek trio in the ruins, it makes me so angry that I even want to laugh...

Every time I encounter these Rock Lobsters, I have to use admin privileges to switch to one-hit kill mode and clear out these maliciously multiplying Rock Lobsters. I don't want my server to be ruined by this bug.

It only does harm to long period worlds. No one need these mob helps for battle in endgame and they only brings latency.

if that was true then why do willow, wendy, 1 skill in wolfgang skilltree, bee book from wickerbotom, wurt, and probably something more, even have a way to get special help if its not needed? alsol who is this "no one"? because then we sould remove willows bear, wendys ghost, wolfgangs 1 skill to support followers, wickerbotom bees, and wurts merm army

Show me your world with 2000+ days without latency fixing mods then I would believe your opinion.

To suffer the latency of rock lobster for just some unnecessary help from them is stupid for long period world.

Even if rock lobsters didn’t duplicate (which I think they fixed in the beta, and didn’t bring it over to the main branch??) I haven’t kept on my rifts in general because of the masque waves. Getting back to back to back waves (bonus points when you get a wrathful rabbit king thanks to the masqued bunnymen counting to it and the counter never diminishing) is very painful and has happened to me several times in my limited experience with keeping them on. It turns me walking from point A to point B in the ruins which took ~45 seconds to a minute at worst into ~10 minute experiences because I have to go and kill all the masques and then get jumpscared by a wrathful rabbit. It’s really not ideal…

I in general feel they really need a mini rework to only spawn at max 1 per rift, or also make it so the wrathful king counter diminishes over time similar to krampus. Even a world option for them would be appreciated since at this point I’m forced to plug my rifts because there isn’t any way to disable them in the settings, which is a shame as I like the other mechanics like the ink blights/acid rain.
