Ohan Posted December 23, 2024 Share Posted December 23, 2024 Wormwood, Wickerbottom, Warly, Wigfrid, Woodie and Wes with 6 players it really doesnt matter anymore what the characters are though imo, unless the players r newbies they will steamroll the game to the point where it gets boring no matter what Smaller teams are more interesting to put together i think. Wormwood, Wigfrid and Warly sounds really fun to me. Wormwood, Wickerbottom and Wurt too. I think they mean that a team of six will utterly shred any boss they go up against regardless of what characters they're playing, which is true unless the players are very inexperienced at combat and forget to bring armor or something. Yeah just everything. bosses in particular like DF mentioned but also just gathering food, exploring the map, doing ruins, gathering resources etc. with many (non newb) players theres never any shortage of anything or challenge to anything. The game becomes more just a place to hang out with other ppl instead of “surviving”, coming up with a strategy, managing time etc. At least imo. Maxwell (duh grass and rock picking) Wicker makes max more efficient Wilson to transmute rocks to flint Wormwood for giant crops (not necessary to be wormwood but it's just more fun than tilling Walter for rounds for decor Wanda for transportation (or winnona i haven't tested her telebrella so idk). To quickly destroy every single moving thing in the game, and then open rifts early to keep destroying whatever comes out of it, probably: Wolfgang - Maxwell - Willow - Woodie - Wigfrid - Wickerbottom For a chill gameplay any team of non-repeated 6 is fine to me. Not about who is the most effective or efficient But Wigfrid, Wortox, and Walter all seem like they offer great synergy to others. Is it really a party without balloons? Warly: Having great food is important if you want to have a great party and Warly is a great cook! Webber: Webber can bring a bunch of his friends to the party to really liven it up. Maxwell: Maxwell was a professional magician, he could probably put on quite the show. Wigfrid: Everyone can use the /dance emote, but Wigfrid can give everyone else something to dance to with her singing! Winona: Winona can clean up after the party ends with her roombas. DegenerateFurry Posted December 24, 2024 Share Posted December 24, 2024 Warly (obviously), Woodie, Wigfrid, Wormwood, Wickerbottom, and Wanda, I'd say. The Warly provides buffs for the team, allowing them to largely ignore weather conditions, to have passive light, and to be stronger in fights. The Wormwood does the farming so that nobody else has to, and the Wickerbottom helps him get specific crop seeds faster in the early-game. Once the team has enough chili and garlic powder-spiced powdercakes, he switches to passively providing mushrooms as vegetables via his planter perks. His moon shrooms not only give Wickerbottom all the sanity food she could ever need, they also let him cheese certain bosses (such as by keeping Klaus's deer asleep while everyone else just beats up the big guy). Wickerbottom ensures that basic resources, bad weather, and the lunar cycle don't cause problems for the team. She also turns summer off by making it rain the whole time (Warly provides everyone who needs it with wetness immunity via fish cordon-bleu). The extended spring means Warly and his teammates are able to slaughter tons of bosses with ease. Also, her book-based farms provide more than enough food for everyone once she gets them built. Woodie and Wigfrid are the big damage dealers, with Wigfrid's songs combined with Warly's garlic buff making the Weremoose almost unkillable. Wanda handles transportation, warping the whole team to remote boss fights like Fuelweaver, Celestial Champion, and Toadstool as-needed and also taking on the longer journeys herself in general. Everyone takes part in the fighting, but it's Woodie, Wanda, and Wigfrid who get volt-goat chaud-froid spiced with chili powder in the big fights.
