people somehow really wanna discuss about walter

Poor walter hasn’t had much attention mostly since his release. I say it’s his time, let him shine.

Moon glass is very sharp and brittle, so it would shatter on impact into the mob, making it take damage over time, just lime "bleeding"

DOT, like fire, is not too strong in DST, what if instead it shattered and damaged all mobs around of what you hit?

Nice idea. Would make Walter have AOE which is nice.

I should go to hell but I'm already there

funny how 3 out of 7 posts are mine XD

Yes please. Moonglass rounds are something I've wanted for a while now. Why? Because in an ideal world, they'd fix Walter's biggest issue, which is his Ammo economy.

Marble Rounds are slow to renew, while Cursed rounds are limited by how many you can carry out of the ruins. Both of them also have the issue of their main material being something in high demand, mainly because of Thulecite and Marble armor.

Moon glass though? It's easy to renew, doesn't have nearly as much demand, and you can get around the logistics issue thanks to boats or by killing CC to upgrade the orb. As long as moonglass rounds are better than gold, they'd honestly solve a solid 60% of Walter's problems as far as I'm concerned.

I think what Walter needs most currently is a way to mass collect the resources he needs for his pallets. Especially if Klei does not intent to reduce the cost of them.

His pallets are full of weird utilities, and certainly you can add more in his skill tree. But if they are too expensive or too difficult to produce, then no one would bother to use them.

We'll probably get something like this for his skill tree; unique planar pellets depending on whatever alignment you chose. Not to discount new pellets, though, he definitely needs better options with more unique effects. One of his skills could also let him prototype Cursed Rounds.
