BalkanCockroach Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 I like the the loot, but the distribution is underwhelming. It drops gems, thulecite and a lot of bone shards AND I DO MEAN A LOT. Instead i suggest it dropping less boneshards and more thulecite (in the form of thulecite fragments). Also this guy is quite chunky, i don't know if it's body takes less damage or something but this fight really doesn't feel like "underground vargling". I assume the wave will only send one of these but if it's gonna come with other smaller worms accompanying it then give this guy better loot. 30 bone shards, 1 thulecite, 8-12 thulecite fragments same amount of everything else seems good. Also the loot isn't really bad but for what this fight is, it can be better imo. Mysterious box Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 My suggestion is when he's spawning all other depth worms should flee the map out of fear so you can give it your undivided attention I definitely agree with the boosted thulecite drops as well as it could be another fun way to farm it as the game goes on I'd perhaps make it drop 3 thulecite and 12 fragments. I don't think it should be less powerful... yet... but for the amount of power it has, it should be a proper reward also, next year is not year of the worm. I don't need that much bones, getting a couple gems or thulecite is just boring considering I can get a lot more and a lot more easier on a ruins trip. there's no incentive to kill him for me at least, so it's a hard pass.
