Technically it did have a use for Warly back when you used to need to cook birchnuts to use them in crockpots

Wait I can use raw birchnuts now?

I considered saying this, but I do actually use it quite a lot! I still use campfires, and I've become the designated campfire (And mast light, too!) fueler.

I guess it is useful for the boats, can't exactly use the fireball much there. If it works on endo fires there's also that. So yeah, I suppose bernie holding has fewer usecases.

Yeah its useless for Warly as he needs to crockpot cook food anyway.

Its actually very useful for Walter tho. Walter and Willow have a nice enough duo synergy in general.

It's relatively useful, allowing you to freshen items about to spoil, but nothing a scaled furnace can't fix. It's technically a useful perk because the code considers roasting food faster and using willow's lighter the same iirc, and fast cooking's always fun.

If upsides within forms of a character counts, the Werebeaver's +17 damage to tree enemies comes to mind.

Not only is the Werebeaver incapable of spawning tree enemies themselves, but +17 on a meager 27.2 damage comes out to 44.2, generally worse than whatever weapon you'd have on you and certainly not worth downing an idol for just to kill treeguards. Also, it's only useful for evergreen and lumpy treeguards since it still takes the same number of hits (2) to kill birchnutters and poison birchnut trees don't take conventional damage. It's a minor perk for a situation you would struggle to find yourself in to begin with, and actively would avoid putting yourself in.

As a side note, Woodie's Treeguard Feller 1 & 2 perks don't multiply this damage either, it's added on top lol

Sleeping in spider dens

I get that it makes sense, like of course the spider can sleep in spider dens, but like...just make a tent. You're webber, you're playing as the one character who can mass produce silk, Hell you grow silk on your damn face. Theres almost no reason to use a den over a tent unless youre THAT desparite for sanity/health and you somehow dont have any twigs and grass
