WenericMember Posted August 14, 2024 Share Posted August 14, 2024 I get wanting a bunnyman story, but considering 2/4 tales of the constant we've had so far have had generic races as a focus I REALLY don't want a 3rd already. Maybe next year once we've had more survivor focused shorts. That said, don't make it primarily be set in the past. Hide & Seek was great because of how it dealt with Winona/Wendy/Charlie/Abigail caring for each other, and to set it in the past would be disappointing. Flashbacks can be fine though. Finally, more Wilson-less shorts. He gets more than enough screentime in the main shorts. In order, the character combos I want are: Maxwell & Wendy (Though considering Wendy just got one, this can wait a while), the two related survivors. Ideally, highlight Maxwell's guilt (or lack thereof) of trapping the survivors in the constant, and have one of them properly acknowledge their relation. Wagstaff & WX-78, the evil robot and his creator. Have WX actively sabotage Wagstaff, or have Wagstaff try to take advantage of WX. The most we've gotten about this is them staring at each other in Host of Horrors. Willow & Wickerbottom - Follow up on Willow's role in trapping the survivors & Burning the library, and the contrast between the most reckless survivor Willow against the most level-headed (Wickerbottom). Seeing some kind interaction between worm and Alter in general would be really neat i think. Its unfortunate that hes been excluded from all iirc the main lunar storyline update animations.. wickerbottom exploring the ancient archives and developing her lunar grimoire would also be interesting i think. Same goes for showing how wicker helped woodie control his curse through the totems. But if I could chose I would make it similar to the tree-chopping tutorial with Wilson using silent film text-planels in between. Or a combination of animated book-pages turning with illustrations, and maybe a small Wickerbottom-written text and after this a transition from the static, then animated, book illustration to the scene in the constant. Honestly, yeah it is kind of weird how few survivors actually utilize their perks in shorts. Like, it's really only Wendy who has Abigail show up on a regular basis right? Wilson goring his hand for one(1!) drop of blood during the forbidden knowledge video is ok for youtube, a documentary on an eyeplant would not be ok?
