Daymare Fuel?

Recommended Posts

You can dislike it, but the truth of the matter is Scrap is the counterpart to Dreadstone.

Both of them can be found pre-rift, but to unlock their full potential, you need to open the rift. And both are very different from their alignment resource, Dreadstone being a solid and Scrap being man made.

Nightmare fuel is more viscous dimensional substance from what the theming is, spookier if it can floor places if it were to happen, but it generally tends to be "goopy" like. It's magic and anomalous nature often tends to be used like fuel, something like oil.

Brightmares are something what I would call a breeze, air, or ghastly. They haunt things to possess and mutate them via otherworldly growths and act anomalously, but there's no evidence that they can be harvested unless vacuumed in like Charlie's torch has done.

I'm calling a plumber for those spookies

I feel like Moon rock fits better as a counterpart to dreadstone than scraps. Don't forget that Daywalker has a scrap weapon but don't deal planar damage. Which means the planar protection we get from Warbis armor is most likely come from the Enlightened shards in it's recipe.

Moon rock is sturdy, very hard to break and has no counterparts. So I think it fits better.

It’s possible but don’t be so sure if klei hasn’t confirmed it

We're just gonna have to agree to disagree here. Those things you listed are what I like about the differences between the two.

If that’s so why do you choose the middle road instead of just apposing forces road

Are you gonna answer me, I mean you say you use curtain parts as examples of equivalents while others aren’t and you think having it that way is perfect then I show how they’re not very equivalent-y then you say that’s what you like about it so didn’t I miss interpret something or did you misinterpret something I’m  kinda confused like you say you want a middle ground but your likes seems to align with just opposing forces path

I honestly do not understand what you don't get about my point. I believe they mirror each other just enough to make the opposing forces obvious, and they differ enough to still make both of them original and interesting. I like that there are both Shadow and Lunar Rifts, but I also like that in the details of how the Rifts work, it's different. If the Shadow Rift was the exact same as the Lunar one in all its mechanics, except the alignments where switched, now that wouldn't be very interesting would it.

Ok I think get it now I think you’re mixing up mirroring and paralleling

so I’m guessing you want just opposing forces but with parallels

whereas I want mirroring but will be fine with just opposing forces but with parallels or just opposing forces if they could just pick a lane already

It's have the same durability as Scrap.

Again, the planar effect comes from the shard.

Couldn't you say the same thing for Dreadstone? The armor are made by mixing Dreadstone with Pure Horror. So we actually don't know if it was the Dreadstone or Purehorror that cause plannar protection.

No, scrap does not give you planar protection and it's not the counterpart to dreadstone. The planar effect comes from the shard. Otherwise just like Warbis armor, Scrappy chapauldron would also have planar protection.

Edit: Yes, I also think planar stuff from dreadstone armor is caused by pure horror. However the regen part comes from dreadstone.

Edit2: I just realised that i said the same thing. Yeah forget about it. I'm going to sleep.

Why do you think that when both don't have plannar protection?

I always thought that beacuse of their nature.

Moonrock is a sturdy rock that can be created by using lunar magic (lunar event).

Dreastone is a sturdy rock that can be created by using shadow magic (dreadstone outcrop).

Meanwhile scrap is just Wagstaffs junk.

Then again, nothing is confirmed so I shouldn't have used strong words in my previous posts.

Sorry about that, i'm really sleepy.:cold:
