Daymare Fuel?

I wonder if there's a reason why we still haven't gotten the lunar equivalent of nightmare fuel.

The Gestalts are made out of it, it pours out of Celestial Champion, it pours out of Lunar Bernie.

As for nightmare fuel, Shadows are made out of it, it pours out of Ancient Fuelweaver, it pours out of Shadow Bernie.

(I added the screenshot because I first didn't believe that "daymare" is a real word. And it is, and it even means something negative, just like nightmare. It would fit the Lunar side)

I mean, Gestalts are ghosts, they put you to sleep, they can attack THROUGH the armor and they need to possess stuff in order to actually gain physical power. So I think that this is why there's no daymare fuel in the game even if that sounds like a dream come true(see what I did there ? Dream, Nightmare, hahahaha I'm funny)

Nightmare Fuel is a patented resource that the shadows give out to people to trick them into being taken advantage of by the shadows.

The lunar entities seem to prefer to prey on dead bodies to get what they want, or plants for some reason which seem to be the exception. They don't need a seductive and magical source of power, because they just wait for their host to die and take them over.

Gestals from the grotto dont atack throw armor while shadows from rifts do

Same way celestial champion doesnt deal planar damage neither fuelweaver. Moontations like horror hounds or pengulls deal regular damage

Is called planar damage because comes from other plane of existence so it goes throw your physical 3d body

Ya I get that but if there gonna go the direction of just opposing forces they should stop putting in these half assed mirrorings

Nah I do think there's enough mirroring; perfect examples being the Rifts, the Pure resources, and even the skilltree Affinities; to make it obvious that they are opposing forces, and I think that is the perfect middle-ground. Keeps the mirroring, but also keeps the originality of the two sides.

The skill tree affinities are either not reflective at all or reflectively half assed and as a whole are barely even equal

brightshades and ink blights are barely comparable

fused shadlings and are the same and one of them can’t even die

miasma is clearable and the lunar equivalent isn’t also if you don’t stand on it while it is forming it has no effect

look I’m not saying there can’t be parallel or the occasional mirroring in skill tree’s but they got to pick a path and stick with it because the way things currently are is bringing down the whole game

We're just gonna have to agree to disagree here. Those things you listed are what I like about the differences between the two.

Wilson can convert Dreadstone into pure horror, and can craft pure horror into nightmare fuel, and vise versa. at the same time, Wilson can craft Pure Brilliance into Infused moon shards, and vise versa. This leads me to believe that moon glass, as in the kind you get when you let infused moon shards spoil, is the sort of nightmare fuel equivalent
