What do you carry?

I never carry any basic resources, I prefer open inventory much more. I do however hold all brightshade gear so im curious what you guys use.

If you have another item to suggest I might add it to the list

I'm excluding repair kits and bundles, just the basics

Tbh, I hold them all (except NMF/logs). Part of the reason is I am extremely forgetful, so if I am out and about and forget an item like a tool or armor or whatever, I can quickly make one. I know this is an inefficient way to keep my inventory, but I can't help myself lol

If I'm going to fight a boss or go to ruins I'll of course drop off the unnecessary junk and clear my inv. Otherwise I'm usually never hurting for space.

Depends on the stage of the game, but usually, pre-rifts I carry grass,twigs,flint(or gold),rocks(honesty idk why, hammers I guess? but I also always carry a hammer so. moving on), but since I almost always tame beefs, I usually also use a piggy bag and it balances out, so I rarely ever have inventory issues(outside of Wanda and Winona).

Always grass and twigs because of general usefulness but mostly for emergency torch. Either I carry NMF & living logs or I carry a weapon.

I always have rope in the backpack if I’m carrying bundling wraps.

I carry a whole base in my krampus sack. On my worlds specifically, I will always have a watering can to extinguish fires that appear for whatever reason.

Twiggs,  grass and rope. Nothing else and i wouldn't be carrying Twiggs and grass if wasnt because i build a lot and i dont want to make a trip because i forgot those

Only ropes are necessary for bundles, everything else is trash filling the inventory just in case you will need it once every 100 hours

grass, twigs, flint, rocks and wood are must-haves. it bugs me to carry around any tool other than shovel & hammer for longer than a day and sometimes i get fussy about the shovel x''D as a hoarder i am constantly 1-2 slots shy of having to hold stuff in my hand at any given point and carrying made tools around is such a waste a lot of the time. to the surprise of noone i usually have giftwrap on me or if i am in solo/my longterm worlds bundling wrap and regardless of when or whom i am playing i try to stay stocked up on blue/green caps

I only carry twigs and grass at all times in case of emergency torch.
Other than that, everything else can go.

I stop carrying grass and pigskin once I get the Shield of Terror and Eye Mask.

I carry the basic resources with me all the time (sticks,grass,flint,rocks,rope,pigskin) I leave it in my bag, I also carry a head lamp hat and a lantern in case one runs out of fuel during exploration plus it doesnt feel right for me if my inventory isnt clutter everywhere i go
