marshyds
For Wurt specifically, since its pretty often more beneficial to just eat the stuff cooked or raw imo. There's a lot of dishes she can't eat too. (There are good dishes, it's just that more variety could be nice.) PS: she could have the warly disgust animation when confronted with meat dishes Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157960-vegan-crockpot-dishes-could-be-buffed/ Share on other sites
loopuleasa
Vegan dishes are in a fine place right now, and it is realistic that they are less nourishing than meat. Wurt players eat raw food out of lazyness, but many good wurt players do prefer a crock food bundle or polar bin later on. This is just not true the vast majority of vegan dishes are not worth making they give stats that are lower than their combined materials or require a fair amount of effort to obtain. It's the equivalent of wigfrid going out of her way to only eat barnacle dishes. Wurt players would use the crockpot more if there were better dishes on average because as it stands there's no point in making one unless you've setup something that would specifically make a dish you want to make readily available. Frosty_Mentos
I think Jam should be buffed to last longer or require honey for a second version of it as a preserved food, other than that veggy foods often are there with mixed stats... or just eat cooked/raw veggies alone and that'll fill you up nicely. My personal favorite thing to cook as of late is trail mix, cause I get both lumber and berry bushes with drumsticks for meatballs. As for the Wurt situation I guess they could be buffed? Or have some kind of heavy veggie dishes we could have, some kind of much more packed and filled salads. For foods I would wanna have buffed is Stuff Eggplant, because we know it's garbage and we know it well. Why does it's stats exist so bad? Idk, but it angers me. To make a setup to produce it casually, get a giant tree, banana bushes from moonquay, stonefruit trees from lunar island and beeboxes for honey. I mean, figs to be used alone would be nice, but I'm thinking more using farmed crops for these things. Not to mention, best vegan food probably is just farming a ton of potatoes. Wurt technically doesn't even need to cook cause she can just farm up plenty of food easily enough and grow durians for hunger, no? Durians aren't really worth it your better off with potatoes or pumpkins assuming you want to farm in the first place. We do need to buff existing crop dishes as well as make more variety in non meat dishes. Or stone fruit if you've already got health covered thanks to the mosquito skills. The point is that the crockpot should be a more desirable tool, even if being able to efficiently eat raw food is technically an upside (a boring one.) Though we also could use more vegan foods... Brago-sama
Id love a small balance food patch, like buffing poms to maybe 25 hp, having stuffed eggplant give at least 60+ hunger, and having melon popcicles lasting longer then 3 days (1.5 if you want the sanity lol) Other then small buffs here and there tho, im actually ok with the food in general. Buffs would be nice but ive never struggled due to an imbalance of stats, only ever a want of "i wish this did a little more but eh" Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157960-vegan-crockpot-dishes-could-be-buffed/#findComment-1732828 Share on other sites
