a topic here inspired me to make this poll, as i've had this funi poll idea in the back of my head for some time now

for my fragrant finalists, definetly either bloomed wormwood, warly, or maxwell. bloomed wormwood is a giant-flower-head man, so pretty straight forward. warly probably smells vaguely of spices/good food since he's around it so much, and maxwell just seems like he would smell nice because of his dapperness

for my smelliest contenders, definetly wurt, unbloomed wormwood and maybe WX. wurt is a merm child, so pretty self explanatory. unbloomed wormwood too, he loooves spreading manure all over his face, he's a plant after all. and WX might be smelly, 'cuz they are probably the spoiled food trashcan, and we don't really know how their "chemical engine" works, so they might just make awful fumes everywhere they go after they eat

All non-human survivors are definitely up there in regards to stank. Honorable mention to Wolfgang, who probably works out a lot and definitely doesn't shower. Wilson's the kinda guy to shove stuff in his beard and that thing looks nasty. He definitely stinks.

Warly's definitely a banging chef, who may or may not include human bones in his recipes, and would smell on the better side. He'd smell like his dishes and good chefs need to maintain proper hygiene.

I voted for him too, but after really thinking about it, Wormwood would definitely stink. I don't care if he's a tree man; bro ain't an air freshener. Dude's constantly bathing in sh*t. He may be no. 1.

First: I am firmly expecting Maxwell to avoid touching / wanting to be near anyone as long as they smell. Also I expect him to complain until the others are getting annoyed by him and take a "bath" [explanation see later] voluntarily, only to hear Maxwell complain less. EDIT: I'm sure Wickerbottom agrees with him and also tries to motivate the other survivors to take care of their hygiene and health [just in a more lecturing way]. [maybe on a lesser degree for the monsters or not at all in case it's part of their biology that scrubbing their skin with soap would be unhealthy for them. ]

I forgot to add: I think of Warly to be the best smelling for often being involved with well prepared food and spices [garlic is a GOOD smell!!!], and I also expect him to wash his hands before preparing food and being good at keeping kitchen hygiene.

I remember I accidently put Wilson in the good smelling category, because I forgot about the beard storage. Actually I would put Wilson in the good smelling category because his beard does look magnificent and well combed but ONLY until he's using the beard storage. If he uses the beard storage Wilson will automatically turn into a gross smelling and not well groomed guy and therefore has to wait until he shaves his beard [and uses a non-existing equivalent to the bathbomb and take an non-possible bath in any pool of water] to become magnificent and good smelling again. [ I will assume the characters occasionally wash themselves when we leave the server.....and hopefully not just by drowning in the ocean. My germphobia forces me to expect this. ]

I also accidently forgot Wormwood's self-fertilizing so I also made a mistake here by accidently putting blooming Wormwood in the good smelling category.

Wonkey being the smelliest makes more sense. Have you guys ever been to a chimp zoo?

For game logic and humor he will certainly be the smelliest [also goes with the monkey throws nasty stuff trope] but then I'd at the same time consider monkey's rather "clean" animals, if not using human standards and if not kept in an unnatural or stress environment. [wait.....survivors do live in a stressful environment....well ok nevermind] Anyway for humans he will certainly be extremly smelly, and since humans are voting in this poll [since I suppose no forum user is a Wurt or Wonkey etc. in real life and we are all humans like most of the survivors. This makes me wonder how the poll would look like from any of the monster survivor's perspective. ] from our perspective he definitely is among the worst. [I will put him on the same level as Wormwood though due to Wormwood's in-game behaviour]

Is that how flowers usually smell?

In real life flowers don't rub fertilizer over their "bodies"..........still it's indeed a miracle to me how something that can grow in disgusting environments can still smell good. Hmm....maybe I should reconsider Wormwood's place here again.

People  usually mention Wormwood but plants are very good at absorbing scents and his own planty-floral ness would override any stinksmell he has. I think Wurt would be the smelliest since she's a kelp / seaweed eater and fish that primarily eat kelp as a diet tend to smell worse as that gives them their more distinct "fishy" smell. I'm probably very biased on the subject since I'm used to the scent of farm animals (cough manure cough) and don't mind fishstink.

OK then I suppose my vote for blooming Wormwood smelling good wasn't that wrong after all.

The most Pleasant would be WX as he doesn't sweat or produce body odor like... everyone else.
Wormwood would smell the worst (even if Bloomed) because think of all the fecal matter, compost, and rot he rubs all over his face and body. It is being absorbed by his skin, not the soil and into the root system so there is no "dirt" to mask it.
