Why DST optimization so bad

Why optimization in DST feel so bad?

My pc were able to run RDR2 but even after enabling small textures and netbook mode DST still make so much lags when I run world that have more than 50 days? After this data game feel unplayable, fps becoming really low and attacking slower. I feel like this is problem of DST because my pc able to run many games better then ok but not DST.

That does sound very unusual, wanna provide help provide a benchmark?

When encountering these spikes of lag, in your console bar run:

TheSim:Profile(1)

These will help provide a profile of the game instance for the length of a second. You can find this profile saved at the directory `Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether`

It may bring more insight into your issues.

ya, over time it seems the game becomes less and less optimized or I guess it's just too demanding for my pc to be able to play lag free how I used to :( i wish there was settings to disable things completely that could be eating performance like the scrapbook constantly updating even when I never use it, the crafting menu updating too frequently, cave servers not having to run when you are on the overworld and vice-versa, trees stop looping through their growth cycle when they reach full stage of growth, and anything else which could make the game more stable! really would appreciate some optimization updates instead of just constantly new content and character refresh

there is a mod called No tree regrowth that solves that if it helps

The game was released so many years ago but keeps bringing updates. While it could have some optimization updates and, if possible,  changes on how shards works. Is unrealistic to expect receivimg updates running in, what 6 years ago was already considered, low end computers

Thank you for your help! I created this file via this command when I had a lot of lags but I don't really understand what to do with this information and why there so much "cat"
