Rowsdikapowey Posted May 25, 2024 Share Posted May 25, 2024 I stumbled upon some new biome, where the grass was more blue, and ice particles were going around my screen, so i keep making fires. It started to snow. I stayed by my fire, and tried to get out, but it was SO BIG. I hadn’t explored much and the biome was HUGE! I couldn’t go anywhere without freezing. Can anyone tell me how to get out of the snow biome? You gotta use stuff like Thermal Stones and Insulating Gear (stuff like WInter Hat and Beefalo Hat) to protect yourself against the cold. Winter lasts 15 days. You should expect it to snow throughout most of those 15 days. Mike23Ua Posted May 25, 2024 Share Posted May 25, 2024 I kinda hope this post is bait, but I also kind of hope it’s a new player to the game who aren’t aware of seasons.. man they’re gonna feel like they’re in literal hell come summer season haha. Isnt changing weather seasons pretty common place in most survival games? I’m assuming the host refers to it as a “Biome” thanks to false survival games like Minecraft, where snow actually is just a Biome. On this game however.. Winter has Cometh & Ye best be prepared! When I started dont starve I went into an adventure mode on accident and it was starting in winter. My honest reaction was to run away from the winter but it was too big and I froze.
