Will there be more salt?

I hope there will be A LOT more salt in the ocean, to the point where you aren't looking for it but instead trying to avoid it.

Obviously I need cutter shells for pearl quest and don't like to explore sea. But I also think salt biome is the most fun obstacle ocean has so far. It's like sea stacks that you need to avoid, but you also get attacked by small critters that try to overwhelm you. I'd love to have big salt biome "walls" blocking paths, making you choose to either risk it and go through, or take a long path around them.

I like the idea of salt formations replacing some seastacks and maybe holding a cutter or 2. But I don't want a bajillion of these tho.

I wouldn't mind a more consistent way of finding salt or have them slightly bigger/easier to find. But I wouldn't want more of them, the ocean is already a pain to browse with all the sea stacks around. What's the point in having faster sails if you can't sail consistently in one direction without bumping into something? At least sea stacks you can destroy.

I don't think sails have a point to begin with. You're better off using an oar and I think grass raft is faster? Just use those

i need more salt to stop my raw figs from spoiling. stea stacks are also overpowered so there should be less of them in the ocean to preserve game balance.

its just survival - you can (or rather, I) do a fair few other things on the ocean and have the bottles accumulate. You just play the game and survive and you will get this amount easily. I said it the way I did because I find the metric of 4 bottles in particular to be just silly. It would be a different story if it were an amount higher but its literally 4 days

I would just like the salt things in the gorge. I'd honestly like more kitchen stuff to make different foods but that's just the inner multitasker in me lmao. Cooking in games is addicting... The pot over a pit would be such a nice skin...
