More ways to get mystery seeds?

I think it's pretty good as is. Gives a reason to go out and hunt for treasure, and gives treasure just this much more value. 

I think it's gonna be pretty cool, as it makes interacting with the ocean content more worthwhile, by finally providing things that are useful on land as well.

I think that’s exactly why its exclusive to sunken chests. People have wanted a good reason to hunt for sunken chests for loot that is great to seek, and the trees give a very good reason to hunt them down.

Really all I would want is for the methods to find the chests to be more reliable, especially from bottles. I really hope they look into adjusting the mechanics of bottle spawning to be more fun then sitting on a boat and hoping the bottles with treasures eventually spawn. The pirate caravan’s are a nice bonus, especially if you can force them to spawn via hostile flares 

All I'm saying is, in shipwrecked, every single bottle message yielding a chest never broke the game. Could apply to dst as well. It's not the end of the world if every bottle spawned a chest and for the sake of "character lore" when you close the map, you read pearl's message.

An idea I had is that once giving the broken pearl to pearl, the bottles would have a much higher chance of spawning a chest, the world chest limit would increase, and the loot pool would shift a bit more rare things. Just an idea to add another reward for the pearled crab king/actually concluding the pre rift pearl story line. I could also see that post this event, you could get a wider range of generic loot from x marks the spots to reflect the higher amount of treasure in the world. But yeah, just an idea I had to add a world changing reward for a boss that insist forever paper and total damage negate.
