How would pogs be ported to dst?

Recommended Posts

They have their natural habitat as scavengers high in the sky, I doubt they'd ever be invited to spread into the Constant as they would become extremely problematic to the ecosystem imo. Also to survivors. I'd accept one as an adoptable pet, maybe as a Vargling skin.

restrict pogs to an island, but also, add in features from the expansion they came from. Singleplayer is completely stagnant and hamlet being stuck in a dead game is a tragedy. Hamlet was never given a fair chance to shine as a game by virtue of being released as a dlc in a game with dwindling numbers.

The only thing I wish to add to this thread is that Pogs are absolutely adorable, and if Wormwood who originated from Hamlet (canon in the sky’s above DST) could somehow end up falling into DST then just let them drop out the sky like that.. it doesn’t need realistic logic, it’s a video game..

I love these creatures, thing is though that I feel that Klei’s intention may had been to replace them with the newer Pirate Monkeys.. for those of you not in the know, pirate Monkeys can and WILL come on dry land, and if you happen to be as dumb as I was and store your loot close to the shore in a storage chest, they- Much identical to Pogs… will open your storage box and Rob it if it’s loots.

But Adorable Pog > Pirate Monkey.

Hamlet takes place up on a series of cliffs, which implicitly Wormwood simply found a path down, seeing as it's pretty old lore that the ancients did the same way back before even living in the caves. It's not just floating above the DST mainland or something.

Pirate Monkeys require you to be on a boat for them to spawn, so it's likely that you had jumped off your boat mere moments before they spawned. It's interesting how having your storage nearby the shore caused them to jump onto land and raid it, but it's not a mechanic for them to spawn while you're on land.

I mean, the very first thing that we see from wormwood is him falling from the moon, falling from the hamlet should be easy.
