A giant that Wilson defeats with an easy-to-make weapon (Ham Bat), ten boards, a boat, a light source, and six ice staffs (note that I took a seventh staff for safety).

The overwhelming majority of the community says that it is impossible to do combat on a regular basis, but in fact all it takes is a little training (the learning curve is quick in relation to AF), concentration and knowing the boss's true mechanics.

Given so many complaints on this Forum, there is a great chance of changes to this boss. No problems for me. After all, if it changes it will be easier than it already is.

The only thing I would like Klei to do, if the developers are really going to change the giant in the next update (in response to members' requests), is to give Crab King the ability to defend himself from bee attacks.

It will weaken the giant, all right. But in return it gives him defense against bees and other monsters.

A fair exchange in my opinion.

Against the player, Crab has several defense mechanisms. When freezing the player (alone) it is the end of combat (there is no way to get out of the freeze). If CK destroys the boat, the fight is over and this monster has two ways of doing this.

So it would be fair for him to have freezing damage against the monsters, killing them after freezing for a while (after the second or third freezing attack).

There are a lot of things that are unfair in this game. How do you guess gunpowder and fire will come out of a chest in a savanna? I play with new players all the time, and the thing I hear the most is "but that's just unfair". Why would Klei make the game easier in this fight in specific just because it requires a little more effort to learn?

If this happens I hope they make an exception for Grumble Bees. I'd hate for Wickerbottom's gameplay to suffer just to prevent some cheese.

Nobody says is impossible (we already told you this but...)

People complain about CK because is a boring and long fight as solo without a real reward since only drops a single recipe that can be optained with klaus

The fight is repetitive, the gem system is boring (has potential to be one of the coolest mechanics) and make the player chose only few combinations

He needs a better loot (a conch to call the rain pls), a sunken chest as drop after we foughtthe pearl version(so we keep the mechanic of extracting a treasure after defeating him), more variety of spells and direct atacks (maybe linked to the gems choosen instead of flat boring stat buffs), a nerf for his claws, etc

Fighting him by rowing is way funnier than the "meta" way of spamming blue staffs to freeze him to diseable the fight but isnt worth with regular damage characters

Yes, and even then it doesn't even come close to the number of repeated threads complaining about him. It is very common to have up to 4 topics created in the same week for this. So I decided to create another topic. LOL

But note that I didn't use Wigfrid, much less cancel the attack animation.

We don't know what will come in QOL, but if it is to modify the Crab King at the request of the community, give it a defense against bees (some type of area damage).

Are we really doing this again?? Okay fine- let me end the argument by stating that Weaponized Bees are found under the dedicated Weapons tab in the game designed & intended to be used as a Weapon..

And on that note, Klei should also Un-Nerf Gunpowder.. but anyway, I think you get my point.

Hey here’s an idea, since Klaus has both AoE fire and AoE ice attacks how about we make him immune to fire and ice damage/freezing, etc..

If the boss is modified to be weakened (which is the most recurrent request here), nothing more fair than having to fight him as requested (instead of outsourcing it to the bees). Will you weaken the boss to continue using bees? So you don't need to modify the boss.

I was very clear in the topic conditioning the removal of the bee exploid to the fact that it weakened the boss as per the request on the forum itself.

I even did a test here using 80 gunpowders against the CK and, to my surprise, it has an incredible defensive system against gunpowders. It doesn't freeze easily if you use gunpowder.

So the boss has mechanics that require some degree of strategy and a great defense against gunpowder, but are you going to continue with the argument that he should remain defenseless against bees?

I try to understand the Forum:

People for Klei: please make fighting CK easy, it's not fun.

People too: do as I asked, but keep allowing the bee exploid to be used, because for me the fun is not fighting him even though it's easy.

Theyde probably still be very useful even without an exception as she can just use tempering temperatures to insta unfreeze them

Great idea. Explosives could do them in one hit.

doesn't make any sense, are you saying that fighting him'll become easier if he'll have a melee AoE attack? why? everything works on cooldowns, he'll heal and claws'll respawn as often as they currently do if that gets added, that's pointless and you still haven't said why cheese needs to get removed

so? they're only used for cheese and cancelling heal so whatever
