Is it too late to ask that Wigfrid be able to tame a varg?

would prefer this over beefalo, they have the same diet.

this seems like more of a bad thing because then i need to split my food with the mount instead of feeding it random garbage that is otherwise useless

Then make varg more powerful than beefalo to make it worth the food downside.

over triple the hp is certainly a start

I will admit I never really developed a Wigfrig plan, where I would jump to mushrooms/planters right away as Wormwood, when Wigfrid I just murder whatever is convenient, I want to think all plans would surely overproduce meat in large scale, but I guess my laziness might be holding me back with updates after ROG.

I don't know about you, but it's not uncommon for me to have entire stacks of meat go stale because they spoil faster than I can eat them. More so if it's monster meat.

also, meaty stew is so efficient.

I mean how would you even get close enough to a Varg for it to let you tame it? Don’t they endlessly spawn aggressive hounds that want to kill you?

And if you remove them as a combat threat, what would Wigfrid actually fight every so often to make up for lack of hound waves?

it is time for Wigfrid to tame her own Fenrir to battle

something in mind is that you put the varg to sleep, kill off all the other hounds, place some meat in front of it and keep your distance, when it wakes up, it'll eat the meat, then you keep drop meat while it follows you. Later on it might let you hand feed it and so the taming starts.

I highly doubt that vargs would be removed as a combat threat, it's not like wigfrid can endlessly tame all the vargs that spawn (from hunts, not the varglet, those can't be tamed for balance sake). plus, taming a varg and the presence of hound waves are 2 different things. This is the varg were talking about, not the hound waves

A pokeballish type saddle that you can use when the Vargs HP is low enough. If it takes some failure and damage to work, so be it.

Oh man I normally don't play Wigfrid but if they'll give her an option to tame Varg I would definetely play.  This idea is so cool!

I think it's a cool idea since you don't hve to keep garbage in your invetory. E.g. playing Maxwell assumes you have book, nightmare fuel, food, and equipment. He really doen't need grass or twigs or flint. Wigfrid already had problems keeping all her songs in inventory, adding here food for beefalo and food for herself... Well, I haven't played Wig so speaking theoritacally, it's seems a lot.

Also you can always have monster meat for warg and mormal food for yourself. With a lot of fighting you definetely have tons of monster meat, don't you?
