Should mutated lunar boss rise the sanity (lunacy obviously) instead of lowering it ?

YES a dead body turning into a giant meatless creature fueled with the power of THE MOOOOOOOON is creepy, but I realized, how the heck will (possibly) mutated shadow creatures rise the sanity ? Ain't this content arc kind of like the opposites, dark vs light, lunar vs shadows...

But that's my opinion, I don't mind it staying like that, just to give lunacy a better reason to exist.

(Lunacy = Enlightenment)

 

I dunno. Them giving sanity only actually does anything if the area around them is Enlightened, but if you're suggesting them to change things to Lunacy around them, I'd rather not. Hurts my eyes. 

I was against it happening to Rift turf for that exact reason.

You can use a mod to disable it if it hurts your eyes.

Lunacy is kinda underused rn and Celestial Crown kinda makes it redundant. I don't see a point to making it for the bosses unless we get something else happening to keep some degree of risk to it. 

To be also fair, celestial crown would only greatly benefit us damage wise if that were to happen, so be it either we could create our own lunacy aura for sake of keeping crown active or idk.

I think it'd be cool if a new boss had an attack that changes your sanity into enlightment for like 30 seconds or something

That'd be a neat way of haandling the enlightment mechanic, isntead of having it work on a 'step on magic turf'-basis

But that's kinda my point, I want to see more people using void gear against lunar aligned mobs, and opposite for shadow aligned mobs.

first they need to develop lucacy. Right now is a mechanic without impact and really bland. People complain about the sea lacking content when we have a new meter for nothing, just gestals thar ignore you 

also deerclops, for example, would drop your sanity so, when they transforms, will raise it back giving you a lot of safe time until your lunacy meter goes up. They could make them have 999 lunacy aura to counter that but wont make sense

sometimes i think they should have split the meters making lunacy have their own meter so you could experience both mechanics and remoging these weird situations 

Kinda weird the crown makes gestalts neutral without any drawbacks. Even so you can just lower sanity to the point they don't harass you.

Bone helm only makes nightmare creatures neutral, and if you happen to ctrl+f them, or take off the helm, you are in for a bad time. 

Lunacy probably needs more threats than simply gestalts putting you to sleep only when your sanity reaches a certain point.

and then there is the BS helmet which not only makes them neutral but also gives you protection along with many other perks... lunacy has 1 single effect and is negate by 2 comfortable to use items

klei souldnt have listen to the community when BS protecting against gestals was suggested

i've been working on a concept where activating rifts causes gestalt guards to naturally spawn in lunacy areas
