Since it simulates winter in an area should it also work with walrus too perhaps? It would finally grant multiplayer access to all the tams and canes everyone could get all year around because some players with massive amount of hours in the game and the world would bring most useful resource yet.

It should works as a winter generator in the area around it. It could freeze ponds for example.

This would be extremely helpful to late-game Wanda's tusk farming. Waiting a whole year for Mactusks to show up is extremely low QoL in the late game when players have already conquered those survival aspects in multiple previous winters.
