i mean, funpimps is (theoretically)scheduled to release their 7d2d april update in july and they already said they are moving back the bandit update that was supposed to be released in a16(it is already a20) while the weather update(the theme OF the update) is just maybe reintroducing weather they took out in a18 + some really trash-tier overlay effects. gtaVI started development in 2016 and still is not estimated to come out for another year at least despite early estimations that it should be out by 2023-4 and silksong is just straight up dead.

even if you believe what you are saying your standard is kind of skewed. in the spread klei does better than a lot of companies and is faster than pretty much anyone i've followed in the last 6 years when it comes to updates and bug-fixes so i am guessing they do pretty alright there as well

I haven't played DST for about 6 months and I haven't even opened the game since the last release. And to absolutely no one's surprise, Klei didn't need me. I only recently became interested in the game again because of the new bosses.

Rn there definitely won't be any betas until they Port the update to every other system. Hopefully soon because it's getting a bit annoying

I think a few things from the release need some bug fixes, and those will need to go straight to live.

But maybe a few of the post final boss things they mentioned initially will mean we re enter beta sometime next week.

Man, I hope they don't push the leftover content promised for this update to the next one. They cut this one in half due to Klei fest, if they postpone the rest of the content that will be so sad :/ If they do that, I hope they at least deal with the inimical gestalt asap, bc that mob is currently a huge mess
