ThisNerd00 Posted August 22, 2023 Share Posted August 22, 2023 Am I the only one having a problem with the game? its not connection to the severs and whenever I close the game steam still think its running I even went into my task manager and the game isn't showing what's up with that? I just bought the game yesterday is there fix for this? Captain_Rage Posted August 22, 2023 Share Posted August 22, 2023 Nope, it started relatively recently here as well (64-bit version on GNU/Linux). The process does not exit gracefully, or at all, when exiting the game. On top of that the game freezes on the loading screen when shutting down a world (luckily the world saves without mishaps). The strange this is that it seemed to start in between updates. I haven't made any relevant changes to my system so I have no idea why this is happening. The only thing I have managed to do is to file a bug report. Generating a coredump of the process does not give any hints, nor does the log files. I fully uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, and disabled some mods and I was able to play. Verifying the game files on Steam comes out OK and didn't help, although the first time it took a bit longer and Steam seemed to do something but the subsequent times it verified the files almost instantaneously and the problem still persists.
