Jakepeng99 Posted July 7 Share Posted July 7 First of all, i am for Woodie having a Perk to help him overcome his downside, but this perk kind of straight up removes his entire were form downside in a less fun way, and now his biggest downside is -40 insulation in Summer. It is not that interactive, and it removes the excitment of Woodie's random were forms. Yes, with Wickerbottom and moon storms, a perk to help deal with them should exist, but it should cost something and not be free and fully remove it. Maybe a new idol that is decently cheap with a spoilage timer and when you eat it, the full moon does not effect you for the night. Klei can do what they want to incoperate something like this, but something more interactive would be better. This is not me complaining it makes Woodie "OP", it just feels uninteractive and less enjoyable to overcome his downside, and removes those funny random "Goose" moments. I've said this in another thread but wereforms still have downsides, and I'd argue these were always a bigger deal than full moons ever were: Sanity drain Can't interact with items or inventory Hunger gets set to 0 (or in this case 22.5 with skill) when transformation is over You can choose not to interact with these downsides, sure, but then you wouldn't be interacting with his upsides. It'd be like playing Wickerbottom without reading books. I dislike the idea of crafting an idol to counteract every full moon because during moonstorms, you'd need one of them every night. That's needless grind as far as I'm concerned. Plus, the lunar perk already has an opportunity cost in that you can't equip Shadow Wrangler while it's active. NNOUS Posted July 7 Share Posted July 7 its shouldnt be a grinding phase for something this simple. if so there would result a tedious and half baked design. by removing its downside is already a huge plus-side.. in my mind i think it would work perfectly. tho some intresting animation for woodie trying to hold the inner flame form changing during fullmoon event would be great. by saying it, I think for Woodie using the Void Cowl should be able to block the influnce of the moon. as it states: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
