Vignette Suggestions

We haven't gotten any new vignettes since WX's refresh afaik, so I'm curious - what would you like to suggest becomes a vignette in the future from the shorts since that one?

When it comes to vignettes I'd like Klei to... y'know, actually make new vignettes

Storing promotional art as vignettes is ok and, as a matter of fact, all 3 of the roadmap's images would make great ones. However, what happened to images made for the sole purpose of being a vignette? Not to mention that main menu and trailer frames are often hit or miss.

Take a look at this:

Alter here looks... just bad (no offense to the artists). It's all just flat colors with the 'crumbled paper' texture over it. But if it were to be redrawn with the detail of Victorian Wendy vignette (plus some extra care, like giving its shell actual interior), it'd be a great addition to the collection.

I've made an entire thread a while back discussing this issue. My takeaway was that vignettes are a great way to showcase the universe of ds/t and that Klei, as a big studio, shouldn't have any trouble making a new pure vignette every other content update.

Its been awhile since Klei let community decide what vignette from specific trailer should be added to game. 

Every character have their own short now, and some other updates have trailers too, I think its the perfect time to add some new vignettes, and maybe made a pool for community with their favorite pics from trailers

Yeah, that's definitely fair. It's a very small thing so I never really mind them using scenes from animations for vignettes, but it would be cool to see more unique ones.

From what I can see update-wise, we have a vignette about the Moon Quay update, leaving vignettes from Maxwell's rework, Wicker's rework, and I guess the Year of the Bunnyman?

I think the reason Klei stopped the community votes was because people were intentionally trying to sabotage the voting system, which is sad cause I’d love more vignettes.

However there is one lingering undeniable issue with them- on the PS5 or Series X/S, the loading screens don’t last long enough to see them! That’s not a bad thing.. faster machines = less loading times and more time playing the game, but… it does leave the vignettes to be mostly useless unless you run into some unusually long loading times.

Ive wanted Klei to add something similar to THIS into the game as a trade inn keep game so Vignettes can be seen & enjoyed more often. I do these every single day on Bing to earn Xbox Rewards points (used to redeem games and DLCs)

This is part of my daily ROUTINE (free points is free points..) and I think it would make for an excellent Trade Inn Game (we haven’t gotten a new one since Year of the Catcoon?)

I also still have some of my favorite images saved to my phone I’d like to see as vignettes
