I was wondering If the restriction applies to activation only and the game could be played In any region after being activated on your steam account? I suggest you to trade it for a normal key with another player if you can't add that key to your Steam library. The steam support said that If the activation key had country restrictions, then It could not be played outside of the listed countries. I re-read the article I sent, and yes you're right. I still suggest you to trade that key for a normal key with another player or refund it if you can. It surprises me, price for DST in steam is so cheap, and during sales game is worth like... 2 dollars? Plus you get a copy of the game after buying one, I see a lot of people trading game gift right in steam forums. However, mine specifically stated that it can only be redeemed in my region, nothing about it only being playable there.
