Little Moon Shroom

Really awesome concept! It would be so cool to see more mushroom decorations in the game :) they look great.

They exist down inside caves, in a biome with the same type of trees as the OP posted (tall ones not their mini drawn short one) killing them also drops living logs. Along with this little guy you’ll also find Naked Molebats down there.. and they look like well, THIS:

This biome generates in caves naturally and is connected to another biome called the Ancient Archives. (Easy to find & absolutely impossible to miss..) But IF your world is really really REALLY Old (like when the update first came out type old…) then the likely reason you haven’t seen these guys is due to how screwed up It generates it into your world because it can’t generate it into your existing world it has to generate it in its own separate area by spawning in a Wormhole that you’ll need to find and jump into, so do yourself a favor and each time Klei releases a new game update: Just start a brand new world so the new content can be generated into your world properly.

I know some people are against starting new worlds… but I’ve seen my fair share of completely messed up Retro Fitting (where the game tries to cram new content updates into already existing worlds) that I now ALWAYS start a brand new freshly and properly generated game save each time a new game content update comes out- Otherwise…

You end up with things like the above mentioned almost impossible to find Wormhole, or THIS!

I absolutely hate retro fitting with every fiber of my being…

I mean it’s cool that Klei tries to incorporate new content into your already existing long term worlds… but as you can see here it just doesn’t generate it properly & things go bonkers!

So just.. start a new world when a large content update comes out to make sure your biomes generate into your world properly. <3

This makes so much sense LOL thanks a bunch! I tend to keep old worlds around FOREVER even when updates roll out. No idea that the retro fitting was the reason for this. Great stuff! Hesitant to create a new world but def will try... for the little shroom guys.

Don’t get me wrong you can still find the content in your old worlds.. but- you’ll need to look around for pretty much a needle in a Haystack because you’ll need to find a small wormhole portal that teleports your to the new area rather than just easily seeing the entire biome right in your face as you explore the caves.

If your on PC you have Unlimited save files so just start up a new world without having to get rid of any of you old long term ones.

and if your on PS or Xbox you still got 5 save slots to reserve one for always restarting when new updates drop
