[Game Update] - Public Testing 534889

Hi friends,

Today's hotfix to the public testing branch has lots of fixes for the new update's content. Full patch notes below.

Changes and Improvements

  • All versions
    • Improved Mysterious Hermit knocking animation sequence.
    • Updated Mission Control Station artwork.
    • Updated Supply Closet mannequin artwork.
    • Revised Supply Closet button icons.
    • Revised some wallpaper skin artwork.
    • The Mailbox is no longer destroyed when completing the Mysterious Hermit Welcome Dinner.
    • Updated text styling of tooltips and descriptions in Supply Closet for Blueprints and Outfits.
    • Geysers now display a new type of tracker when targeted by one or more Geotuner.
    • Adjusted Supply Closet refresh logic to do a better job of presenting the most up-to-date data. 
    • Updated Supply Closet screens to show a warning that newly unlocked items won't display while data communication is disabled.
    • Added sound to Geotuner.
    • Updated Data Collection options menu to ask the player to restart after changing the setting. Also renamed it to Data Communication.
  • Spaced Out! only
    • A Mission Control Station inside a rocket can no longer provide a boost to that same rocket it is inside of.

Fixes

  • All versions
    • Fixed a memory leak introduced to the animation system during public testing.
    • Conduction Panel
      • Fixed a crash that could occur when constructing a building in front of a Conduction Panel.
      • Fixed a crash that could occur when the Conduction Panel was built on top of a building under construction.
      • Fixed issue allowing the Conduction Panel to store infinite liquid.
      • Storage in the Conduction Panel is now sealed.
      • Fixed an error in Conduction Panel temperature exchange calculations.
    • Geotuner
      • Fixed Geotuner sidescreen listing covered geysers.
      • Fixed an issue where Geotuners were requesting materials of the previous selected. geyser when setting the selected geyser to "No geyser selected".
      • Geotuners now indicate if some but not enough material has been delivered.
      • Fixed Geotuner sidescreen displaying number of Geotuners targeting a geyser.
    • Rooms
      • Fixed room conflicts for Great Hall and Hospital.
      • Fixed Private Bedroom's backwall requirement for non-rectangular rooms. Added missing maximum room size requirement.
      • Fixed crash when repainting a canvas or sculpting block.
      • Fixed Private Bedroom not updating after backwall is removed.
      • Changed the room overlay legend ordering to place Kitchen after Mess Hall and Great Hall.
      • Fixed room type not correctly updating when shine bugs (light source) leave a room. 
    • Supply Closet
      • When creating a new outfit in the outfit designer, that outfit should now be selected when returning to the outfit browser.
    • Mysterious Hermit
      • Gravitas Shipping Container now displays statuses properly after completing the story trait.
      • Jorge's personality description string is no longer missing.
      • Fixed layering issues with Mysterious Hermit animations.
    • Fixed issue preventing Mission Control Stations from consuming power or generating heat while in use.
    • Fixed a crash when uprooting Oxyfern.
    • Fixed Duplicants missing hats when equipping Primo Garb.
    • Updated Duplicant idle animations to look better with lighter pants.
    • Fixed “Doodle Dee Duplicant” painting sticking around after deconstructing the canvas.
    • Fixed issue allowing main menu options screen to be opened multiple times simultaneously 
    • Fixed issue allowing Duplicants without the astronomy skill to use the Mission Control Station.
    • Fixed crash composting a spiced food. Note that it loses its spices in the process.
  • Base game only
    • Fixed white square/missing image appearing in the main menu button when Spaced Out! is not installed.
  • Spaced Out! only
    • Fixed crash building rocket modules.
    • Removed duplicate Niobium Geyser entry in the database.
    • Fixed missing text on Teleporter Transmitter sidescreen. 
    • Fixed Duplicants getting stuck at a suit checkpoint built inside a rocket beside the door.
    • Fixed rocket related UI crash.

But why?! It seemed like the perfect "cave design". :D

Also, am I the only one who wants to see how that picture inside looks like?

Room conflict thing is still buggy/broken for great hall. I removed everything from the room after updating to test.  marble block, 24 decor, says missing decor item

I removed weird walls, and it got even weirder:

Normally i can make a room, telephone, flower pots with Joya seeds, and it counts as a great hall, but ever since the newest test patch it's broken. i can't determine how to make a great hall correctly. I even hired a real artist to fix the sculpture.

Try making a 64 tiles great hall. It's the same problem nature reserve has. When going above 64 tiles, the game complains about conflicting buildings even though there are none
